Where to start?

I am completely new to online marketing. I have not had much success so far, and I think it is in my advertising.

I know people make plenty from IM, and any help in generating quality traffic would be appreciated. (Any traffic for that matter!)

I have a tried clickbank products, and also have an online shopping mall, with a number of affillitate links to major brands, but cant get enough traffic to convert.

I also host a review site of online marketing ideas, and have the same issue.

Please HELP!!

What do you want to do? This is the section of the forum for CPA (Click per Action) ads. Do you want to do that? Do you want to build niche sites? Do you want to do affiliate marketing? Do you want to write ebooks? You need to focus what you want to do, do a search on this forum and on the Internet, read free reports and posts, and narrow your focus. You have to know WHAT you are going to do before you worry about traffic.

If you still have those sites and would like to get traffic to them, then do a search on the forum for traffic methods. That can include article marketing, squidoo lenses, hubpages, etc. There is no one best method.

So get focused, search and study. Get a notebook and make notes as you read.

Market what you know best. Something you can talk about, write articles on, blog about, and etc. Iron that out to one or two products/lead offers that may convert. Built a authoritative site on that. Then spread your knowledge, write articles, blog, find related forums and answer questions, yahoo answers, and etc. Start a email list offering dailing/weekly tips/advice/resources and slide in a offer every few emails. The more people trust you know what you are talking about, the more likely they are to buy/apply for what you are offering.

Or, pay a copywriter $10,000 for the perfect sales page :-)

great advice above! The more you build on a niche you like and stick to it I think thats the way to go. That way you can focus more on different ways to attack your niche in traffic and conversions and not spend too much time on the latest greatest proposals in your mailbox.

You can read how I make my first money online from Internet and Affiliate marketing from second site in my signature.

If you want to make money using PPC, Google AdWords for instance, you must learn a lot if you want to be "out of red" in your account!

* You must know how to write Headlines for PPC!
* How to write Ads to have high click through rate CTR!
* How to research good keywords, and domain name with that keyword.
* How to create landing page and where to write your affiliate links
* How to track visitiors to your Ads, Landing page and Sales Page
* How to bid for certain keyword
etc, etc, etc.

You can find many info here at Warrior Forum about it!

You must learn a lot! Maybe someone knows how to make money instantly and I'll like to see that as well.
