I was in a webinar a couple of days ago that Gauher Chaudry was running with a friend. Being a follower of Gauher, he answered many questions that the attendees were throwing at him including my own (I think I was a bit selfish asking questions every 30 seconds!) and I have just gone through it and edited it to just the useful questions. You may find out some good tips to help with your own CPA campaigns ![]() ----------------------------------------- Q: Do I need a separate domain for each landing page. Give details please A: No you can put multiple landing pages on one domain, and usually will... we'll cover it more in the webinar. Q: Are taxes in Canada ridiculous? A: From what Gauher tells me, they are COMPLETELY rediculous! Q: Hey Gauher, if an offer says "No Coreg", does that mean I can NOT use it as a backend offer using TrafficRegenerator, especially within a daisy chain? Thanks! A: No that's not coreg... it's basically just a fancy popup or series of popups Q: Google talks about bridge page being bad -- can you explain what they mean by bridge pages? A: A bridge page is a page that really only exists to steer the visitor to a specific place... pretty much any opt in page is an example, it exists really for one reason only - to capture the lead Q: How do you find the "google quality score" for the content network? A: you can't Q: did you say red wood for the headline? A: red tahoma font Q: what if you are bidding on an odd keyword like "car insurance cheap" A: you would need to make sure that if you are dynamically inserting it into the heading of the landing page that it makes sense. Q: how do you spell the title font you mentioned? A: Tahoma Q: do you always strive to obtain a 10 QS on your profitable keywords? or will you settle for 8s and 9s A: always try for the 10/10, but you need a CTR of about 10%+ to get that. Q: In which order do you recommend split-testing elements? Do you start with the headline? A: yes because it is responsible for 80% of the success of the page Q: doesn't that end up with duplicate content? A: that is a myth.. duplicate content rules is not to have dup content on the SAME domain Q: Do you need your own website to link all of your landing pages to? A: yes because you need to place your landing pages somewhere Q: did you get that graphic from the ad network/merchant? (In regards to the CPA creative being used) A: yup Q: How many times do you test headline before you change something else, like picture or offer? A: 5-6 different headlines Q: The landing page you showed us earlier with the beauty makeover did you have further content below the image of the girl? A: nope Q: Do you split test 5-6 headline at once? A: you don't... you test 2 at one time and improve Q: will this all work for Organic listings? or should we Not use this for Organic traffic? A: this is to please Google Adwords but will GET you free organic traffic from Yahoo and MSN Q: hey gauher, when you talk about split testing ppc ad, can i take that as developing two separate ads and test which of the two perform best? A: yes Q: how do you add video? A: embed the video on your landing page Q: To test the Ad or the headline first?... that is the question ![]() A: both at the same... Q: and split testing landing pages, does that involve developing 2 landing pages and test both at the same time? A: yes Q: is a silo a bit like a subdirectory? A: I have never used an article spinner service in my life Q: duplicate content is more of a factor for SEO than for PPC? correct? A: yes Q: Gauher, do you start with say 100 keywords in one ad group and then remove the non-performers? how do you split ad groups up to manage them efficiently? A: put them into themes Q: You are saying you can dynamically test different products, price offers, anything thru split testing? A: yup Q: gauher. i am a newbie to this ppc and cpa stuff. a ton of money can be made nowadays. i get it. A: the CPA market is huge.. go out and get your piece of the CPA money pie Q: how much is your course to join gauher? A: $1297 one-time fee.. you can aslo do the 3 split payment plan... Q: How do you use website optimizer with CPA offers? It requires to have the same URL for the landing page as the conversion page so you can't track actual conversions A: you would have to have your AM place the tracking code on the success page Q: isn't showing google one thing and showing your visitors another thing against Goggles TOS?? A: yes.. so are iframes... but they don't seem to care or enforce... bizarre Q: That first makeover site you showed--if there is not content on it, how do you get a good quality score?
