I already asked my affiliate manager about this, but hopefully someone here who knows can answer faster... If I promote a free trial offer for $/sale, do I only get paid if they keep the free trial? I'd rather stick with free trials that pay $/lead if thats the case.. I'm asking this because I asked my aff manager which health products convert the best, and she named a few that said $/lead in her response, but when I looked at the offer list on the Max bounty site, they actually were listed as $/sale. |

For free trail offers... they convert with the person pays a few dollars for the shipping and handling. Not after the 7 day trail of what ever. Micah Rush |

The question is a can of worms. Depends on what you believe about lead shaving.

It depend on the offer and what a merchant considers a fraudulent lead. If someone makes a purchase (and gets you a paid lead), but they did it with a stolen credit card, there is a chance the merchant will reverse the lead once they find out it was a stolen credit card. There are other scenarios that cause leads to be reversed such as someone who purchases a trial over and over again, someone that purchases the trial and within a VERY short period of time (before they even get the product), cancel their order. Customers that cancel their order before the trial period is over do not generally lead to reversals, except in the cases above. |
