Default CPA?

I know it stands for Cost per Action.

But what is the business model for this?

Basically, CPA is an affiliations where in you will have to make your own website and earn money while selling other products which will gain you commissions per successful sale.

Can someone share more from their experience of running CPA campaigns. If you can share some good tips, which are the Top CPA offering sites, how to get accepted by the best performing CPA services, things to take care while doing the landing page setup, how to increase the coversion rate, how to get targeted traffic.

If you can share some stats from your experience of runnign your CPA offers thats highly appreciated. Is this segment also not saturated, its like everyone is talking about CPA these days. There is so many launches also happening around CPA like CPAninja & all.

In CPA you can get paid for selling nothing.

Advertisers want leads. It's all about the leads baby!

Yes, sales are also a huge factor but you can make a living on nothing but finding leads as well.

There is a wealth of Info here. Sometimes I just use the "search" function here at the forum or just use Google.

So wouldn't the CPA stuff fall into 2 categories?

CPL - cost per lead

&

CPS - cost per sale

So I direct traffic to a website, and for every successful sign-ups, I get paid?

Correct!

You are simply an affiliate marketer who is a "traffic broker."

The service you are performing is called arbitrage. Arbitrage is the act of sending traffic to various offers where the offers pay more than your cost of traffic.

You can send that traffic to cost per action offers which can be for a lead or a sale payout.

Regards,

John

Ah... Now I get it.

I read from a report that I have to submit my "resume" to major CPA networks just to get accepted. And I will receive my own "manager" to help me boost traffic.

Is this true?

If it is, then it sure is more troublesome than Affiliate Marketing(Clickbank).

When you apply to a CPA Network, especially the larger well established ones, you will need to provide them with certain information. Typically, they want to know: how you will drive traffic, what vertical markets you promote, how long have you been doing it, how much do you spend each month promoting offers, URL of your website, etc...

Basically, they want to know that you are experienced and know what you are doing.

Most networks will assign you a dedicated Account Manager. Some won't until you prove that you are the real deal and justify their expense. If you aren't assigned a manager, then an affiliate support team will handle your needs.

Your AM is there to help you but they are not typically there to train you. Again, they want experienced people on their team who can drive traffic that converts. They get paid when you get paid. Those who make them money will get the attention and special benefits.

For example, one CPA network contacted me (outside of WF) and asked me to promote their offers. I politely told them no. They came back several times and offered me a VIP deal with higher payouts on the offers as well as better payment terms (net 7).

So to recap - they want experienced people on their team.

Make sense?

Regards,

John

ps - Don't let what I said discourage you. They don't always get what they want and we were all newbies when we started.

pps - It is a heck of a lot more rewarding to do CPA than Clickbank IMHO.

CPA? It's cost per aquisition it means "Online advertising ROI model in which return is based solely on qualifying actions such as sales and registrations as measured against the marketing costs associated with that sale or registration."
