Question about State's Laws

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows whether the recent internet tax legislation by certain states, like my "wonderful" state of Rhode Island, which has caused Amazon and the like to cancel affiliate relationships also affects CPA Networks and offers? Anyone have any experience with this?

I don't want to apply to a bunch of CPA networks only to have them tell me something I already know, the legislators of my state are idiots.
