Default iframes and affiliate networks

Hi guys,

I have a couple of questions that I'm not able to figure out without some help.

You can use iframes for many things, but are you allowed to include the offer page URL with
your affiliate id from for example Clickbank into your iframe code to avoid direct linking, using your own domain name?

Is it better to:
A> Use individual domain names for each of your CPA offers with one webpage per
keyword, or
B> Have a general domain name with sub folders for each adgroup, and sub web
pages for each of your keywords, like a silo structure?
I mean if you have many campaigns, then all campaigns are using the same URL,
with sub folders for each campaign, which has subfolders for each adgroup etc.

Appreciate answers from people with experience in this.

Thank you.

You can iframe a CPA offer with your own unique URL. I would not create a separate domainname for each of my offers unless I know that it's converting for me. So first use a generic but relevant domain (for eg. if you promoting in diet niche, stick to a diet domain) and have all your offers go through a subdir or subdomain.
Then if you find a winner, buy a new domain with kw in the main domain and start a new campaign. Adwords will start running your new domain as it'll find it more relevant and slow down your old one.

Keep in mind that iframes technically are against Google's rules. Many people get away using them but Google could institute more strict enforcement at any time. So I wouldn't build a whole business around using iframes on Google Adwords.

Thank you for your answers.

I have a couple of more queries:

When you use an iframe for your CPA offer, and set up a separate test domain to test your
CPA offers, do you give in your PPC campaign your separate domain name as your Display URL,
your separate domain name as your destination URL and inside the iframe your offerpage URL including subids, affiliate links etc?
Or where do you put in your subid to track?

Let me try to make this clearer, here is an example of a PPC ad:
Titlefield (25 chars)
Content line 1 (35 chars)
Content line 2 (35 chars)
Display URL (Only the name of your sepatate test domain?)
Destination URL (Your destination URL with aff. id + subids?)

Inside iframe : Your exact final offer's URL including aff. id and subid?

Thank you

Best way to use iFrames with adwords is:

1. Get a good tracking system. Such as Prosper ...
2. Set up Campaign in Prosper ...
3. Set up landing page in Prosper (simple landing page)....
4. Create tracking link in Prosper ... http://domain.com/landingpage.php?.....kw={keyword}
5. Input links into iFrame format which you can find here.
6. Create Adwords Ad ...
As Display Url use your landing page url such as: Domain.com/landingpage
Tracking URL http://domain.com/landingpage.php?.....kw={keyword}

Wat Prosper does it replaces the keyword with a unique Sub ID that will be submitted to your Aff network and if your network supports pixel (which you need to submit to them), you will even be updated real time if you get a lead / sale!

With this talk of iframing - always make sure that the offer allows it before trying it! Would hate to see fellow warriors earn money then have it withheld!

Could you point me towards a post that goes into details on other ways to accomplish this without using iframes? I know I applied to one affiliate network and my site was rejected due to having an iframe on it last year and it was at that point that my partner and I called it quits because neither of us knew what else to do since we aren't knowledgeable as most in terms of coding or programming options I guess?

OPLeads

Thank you for that information.
What do you mean by Prosper, is that Prosper202? I'm already a member of Tracker202,
but I can't see any info about Prosper 202 in there?

Please explain more?

As Robyn8243 mentioned before, Prosper is the self-hosted version of tracking 202 and you can find it here: Prosper202 Self Hosted Apps

Prosper has several adon scripts that improve on already great features: Prosper202 Scripts

Also remember to check the individual offer. A lot of networks have offers that DO allow iframing, while at the same time carrrying offers that DO NOT allow iframing.

But if you are doing ppc it'll be fine, however keep in mind that its against google's tos but I know at least 3 super affiliates who have been doing iframing for last couple of years.
