Default When setting up my CPA offers, how many keywords do I need per offer?

Do I need 4 or 5 or is 1 per offer good enough?

Thanks
Ron

If you are using PPC content then use 15-30 tightly matched keywords into each adgroup.

Ron,

It really depends on the quality of the keywords you are finding. My suggestion is to not think "how many keywords should I target" and instead think "how many potential searchers do I want to reach".

Let's say that you want to promote a CPA offer in the Weight Loss niche. You aren't think about the numbers of keywords, but rather the total amount of potential traffic.

To be profitable with this CPA offer, you figure that you'd like to reach a potential of 1000 searchers per day.

You do a little keyword research and find several keyword phrases that total up to about 1000 searches per day. They won't all be the same, of course. It will more likely be like this:

Keyword Phrase #1: 126 daily searches
Keyword Phrase #2: 67 daily searches
Keyword Phrase #3: 58 daily searches

And so on. Maybe you can find 1000 daily searches with just 1-2 keyword phrases. Maybe it takes 5, 10, or 20. It really depends on the niche itself.

Anyway, that's how personally view it. Hope that helps.
