Default CPA and Organic Search - Waste of time?

Seems like all the threads about CPA success deal with PPC. Am I spinning my wheels trying to do this with organic search alone?

Webatomic,

CPA + Organic search is very powerful. If you know how to rank in the search engines, you will get all the traffic you can handle. You will be trading time for SEOing stuff instead of money for getting smeared by Google, but it is soooo worth it. I am doing this now with Jeremy Kelsall and Don Von Fossen's 'CPA Marketing Bootcamp' (a WSO here in WF). These guys know what they are doing and they share ALL of the 'good stuff'. You can end the mystery of finding a good program to teach you right there. No affiliate link and a totally awesome price on it I might add.

You are on the right track!

Thanks AW. I'm a member of the CPA bootcamp as well. I just have little patience unfortunately. I'm anxious to see something work so I can build out like 100 sites! I've got a single product cpa offer site and a review site, both ranking at the top of Google and so far nothing, although it's only been less than a week......

Ah Yes, Waiting for the big moment. That always drives me nuts too. It's as though that is the only confirmation that we did things right. It will happen.

The thing that really, really turned it around for me was Micro Niche Finder. I like to know there is no question that I did the keyword research right. With MNF, I am seeing words I never saw before with many of my sites. I am going back now and retrofitting them with the higher search, low comp keywords that MNF shows so easily.

Best of luck to you in all of your efforts.

I have MNF and even better for me, Market Samurai. So I'm doing well for the first time in terms of ranking organically. It's converting that seems to be the problem! That and my extreme lack of patience.....

Maybe you aren't properly monetizing the CPA offers like you could? You can get all the traffic in the world, but a poor monetization will lessen your conversions.

Have you tried building a list and emailing out CPA offers?

Just so you don't lose sight of the goal...the method that you are talking about - the 1st one in the bootcamp is making people serious cash...

One guy made almost 13K this month from that method alone promoting a CPA offer that pays out less than $5.

What you are likely running into if you are ranking on the first page, but not seeing sales is that you are promoting a somewhat new product, which is good - you got in early As interest starts to pick up and the moron spammers start spamming the hell out of CL and peoples email boxes you will start to see traffic as people are looking for more information

Hang in there dude...send me links to your sites and I'll take a look at them for you.

Jeremy

Been my problem on some but with organic it takes it bit longer since ppc is so quick to choose a ton of keywords. And then you can figure what converts or what doesn't.

Not at all. We have several sites (trial offer markets) that rank on the first page for some competitive keywords and they are worth pure gold

The only problem with SEO is that it takes time (at least for the markets and keywords) we are going for. So we combine PPC and media buys together with optimizing our sites for SEO. Did I mention that we test the market beforehand with PPC (etc)to see whether it is worth to rank for those terms?

While people were buying into the $100,000 a dayDream With a certain expensive CPA Launch not long ago...I was quietly only using free methods...and as I read those threads every single day of the agony people were going thru with PPC I never spent a dime and made a killing.

Yes it takes time but once its set up you are cashing in while you asleep.

Thanks. I have your ebook and it does have some great methods in it. I'm making a few bucks here and there, but nothing to write home about yet. It does seem like everyone who's making real money with CPA offers is using PPC though.

Hi,

Actually i'm in the same ship with OP.

So, instead of creating new thread i think it is better for me to join this discussion. Never ever think that i'm hijacking this thread.

This is what happening to me..

Currently my site is at the top rank on Google (#2-3), Yahoo(#1) and Bing(#1) for my secondary keyword which having about 2000 searches per month (exact phrase according to Google Adword Tool).

With about thirty unique articles, my site's having about 2000 visitors per month according to Google Analytics and keep increasing every day.

I joined one of the CPA Network promoting health related product and aiming for big bucks from this.

I'm able to send about 300 visitors after 5 days joining the network..and all of them are organic traffics.

However, i don't know what goes wrong as all visitors that i send to CPA offer never convert to a sale/lead.

It is true..i don't have what people called 'squeeze page' or 'landing page' on my site. I just have normal article as post in my site (blog).

Is it the reason why i don't have any conversion?

Do u think that i should have those pages too?

Can you guys share what do u think?

Thanks.

Try sending your traffic directly to a review page of the offer you're promoting and stick the offer where they can see it! Rather than sending them to an article. What works for me is to 9 times out of 10 get them to land on the offer page.

You should start converting then!

Good luck!
