questions about keyword research for ppc for cpa

Hi Guys

The only keyword research I have done is for article marketing.

With ppc for keyword research do things like the number of backlinks and the pr score the competition has mean anything, or is in solely based cpc?

According to Gauher Chaudhry if there are other competing ads on the right thats a good sign that people are making money with that offer.

But whats the highest number of competing pages you should compete with?

With cpa do you still subscribe to the 100 to 1 rule where the payout has to be 100 times the price of the click?
