Let's say there's a URL I want to target: http://www.mydomain.com/product.html...171&xxxx=12345 but the "var=1250219171" changes each time, so I want to target everything BUT that. How would I enter that into Media Traffic? Like this? http://www.mydomain.com/product.html &xxxx=12345 as if it's one "keyword" and set it to complete URL? I hope I'm making sense. |

Please understand that everything to the right of the question mark is part of the query string. So this is as tight as you will be able to target if the query string is not static. Regards, John | |

Spoke with MT. They told me to use this: http://www.mydomain.com/product.html &xxxx=12345 and that would trigger my ad when the user types this URL: http://www.mydomain.com/product.html...171&xxxx=12345 I guess the whole thing is essentially treated as a keyword. So I just need to match what's in the user's address bar to cause a trigger. |

Make sure no one else is bidding on just the domain itself, if they are you won't see much traffic this way. |

Hmmm. Would I have to enter the exact URL in order to prevent that?

If you're bidding on more then just the domain and someone else is just bidding on the domain and they are bidding higher, they'll get the traffic. |

Well then what's the point of targeting specific URLs? You sure about that?
