Direct Linking, yahoo questions, forums

I am a complete n00b. I wanted to know if i can direct link to the landing page of the offer rather then having to make a separate site of my own? if so how do I do this
Also is it okay if I answer questions with sending people to my link on yahoo questions and can i do the same with message boards?

Of course you can...but conversions will probably suck.

Yahoo answers is a VERY powerful tool, if used right. Don't just spam people...be smart. Same goes for forums, don't spam, or you'll get kicked out before you can say "Visit my..."

Yes, you can direct link. There are pros and cons:

Pros:
- quick and easy. Don't need to spend time setting up a landing page
- great for testing out an offer. Find out if it is profitable/converts well before setting up a landing page for it

Cons:
- PPC search ads only allow one unique domain per search result. Therefore, if others are direct linking to the same offer you will be competing with them which means less impressions and/or higher ad costs
- You don't have a chance to presell the prospect (which can have a big impact on conversions)

Don't forget the most important thing of it all...it's a one time sale...you aren't capturing any information for future sails / building lists...
