I'm not sure if you guys are running your campaign on a national level or a geo-targeted level but the method I'm using has helped me identify which region/states most of my conversions come from and also drop my Cost-Per-Click. Here's what I do.... 1. Break all campaigns up into geo-targeted campaign by region or timezone. I would suggest doing eastern timezone states, central timezone states, mountain timezone states & western timezone states. 2. Identify whether or not some of your offers have call centers that have business hours between 8:30am to 9:00pm. (use ad scheduling before and after these times). 3. Start with longtail keywords move to short tail keywords. 4. Set all my daily budgets at $500 or more just to get some volume. (If you use this method you have to watch your campaigns so that you don't overspend) 5. Add negative keywords to all your campaigns.
