How long before contacting CPA networks?

Hey Warriors,

I'm preparing to apply to several CPA networks. I've heard a lot about how it's best to contact them before they contact you for an interview.

My question is how long to wait? Can I call them an hour after applying, or is it better to wait till the next day or something in between?

I really appreciate your help!!

There's really no pre-defined amount of time to wait, and there's no best amount time to wait either. When I started years ago I would usually apply for a network and then contact them via messenger or outright call them to get the approval process sped up. Sometimes I would call them directly after I applied, sometimes I would wait a day or so.

Apply and call them up the same day it doesnt realy matter. i called the networks the same day. some networks goes to the voice mail but i leave them the mesage and i get a call back as well..
But i would suggest to call up straigt away, and tel them we are busy IMers and might not have time to follow up so GET ME APPROVED...just messeing..

You can even call before you apply and if you sound like you know what you're doing, you can be promoting their offers that very same day.

There is no need to wait a certain number of days though!

Agreed. Just call after you completed all
the forms

I tend to apply to every one when I find them, then forget them ... I write a list and the date and about a month later if I've not noticed an email from them and they've not phoned, then I search my email to see if I missed it ... and then shoot them off an email.

This way, I usually find I've been approved for most so next time I'm looking for something to chuck into my ad slots they're already approved so I can just log in.

You can really wait however long you like, at least give it 5-10 minutes for it to go through, but anytime after that you can call.

Be sure to go about applying to the networks on a Monday or Tuesday. This is best because I find networks are much more available in the begining of the week for affiliate applications.

You can catch them on the phone more often. Call them up whenever you are ready. Within 1 business day. Don't wait to long, and be sure you are calm when having a conversation.

If you get them on the line, be sure to present yourself professionally. Something along the lines of:

"Hi, My name is BLANK, and I'm looking to speak to an affiliate manager about my affiliate application".

Most of the time, the same person you are talking to on the line, will be able to assist you, and will ask for your full name and email address.
