For those Warriors that are in EPN world, we know that this week has brought lots of interesting news. In the forefront is the new QCP (Quality Click Pricing) in which EPN has stated that we will be paid on the dynamic basis per the quality of our clicks. Now I have had some discussions with a few of the Beta testers of the new QCP system and the agreement is that QCP is actually going to keep our earnings stable or actually improve them. The purpose behind the QCP is that EPN does not like people who run to set a bunch of cookies and hope that the consumer buys something. Moreso than that - it is a method created to deter fraudsters who are constantly trying to infiltrate the network. The Summation is that if you are an honest affiliate for EPN driving quality traffic, you can expect and hope for your earnings to stay stable or even increase. Now for those Warriors that are not members of the eBay Partner Network. This may be your time to apply as I understand with the change to the new payment model, EPN is going to be a little less stringent on applications -meaning that it may be your chance to get in and get some profitable sites up for the "XMAS shopping rush". I know personally many members of EPN that make upwards of $100 EPM. That is $100 per 1000 page impressions. Or they earn about 10 cents per page LOAD. Not bad. This can also DOUBLE in November and December. So to "get accepted into EPN", you need to follow a few guidelines that we have laid out in this PDF. It is normally saved for an Opt-in reward, however we think it is too pertinent to withhold. You can download it directly here http://www.wpmage.com/EPNApproval.pdf Also The summary checklist (included in the PDF, but here again for your pleasure) Ebay Partner Network Acceptance Checklist. IF ANY OF THESE DO NOT COMPLY- YOU WILL GET REJECTED %90 OF THE TIME
If you have any other questions feel free to post them here. Thanks! -Greg Jacobs |

Good info, I'm surprised at how strict EPN has been with applications lately but I guess they're trying to keep their affiliate program's quality up high.

| its actually because in the past they had been abused by cookie stuffers, so they basically tried to keep them out at the gates. Now with the new QCP, they can weed them out by basically discounting their traffic, so thus the barrier to get accepted will again be within reach for honest affiliates.

For my understanding the types of sites that will not do well, are ones that just drive large amounts of traffic to eBay that is untargeted and just set a cookie and hope the buyer 'accidentally' buys something. but like you said, we will see for sure very soon...

I'd say not to waste your time with EPN. Not worth it. Read the latest from their members: http://forums.ebay.com/db2/topic/Eba...k-At/520147163 eBay Partner Network (English): Special Discussion Boards Community |

for the record, my QCP earnings are almost EXACTLY the same in aggregate as my previous earnings. (and I probably make more than all the people that posted on that thread combined - which isnt saying much cause it seems that most of the complainers are making about $100 a month which is not enough data to get an accurate feel for the new system - start driving 1000 unique clicks a day and then we can start to really analyze the data - under that it is a crapshoot) Some of my big ticket sites took a hit, however lots of my little sites took up the slack. This can be learned for an optimized so I suppose after we get a better handle on how to optimize for the new system, our earnings will increase. and again for all you nay-sayers. well, just keep complaining and I will just keep earning. thanks.

Bumping this thread.. So, if you can not make review type sites, what sites can you make? That sounds against their best interest. If someone is looking to buy a product, why wouldn't they want to read a review? Is the answer to make a general site about the product niche, but not to do any specific product reviews? |

So, I see where you can't have any other ads. Does this mean adsence too! That might be why they rejected it. But anyway, I've got a site that's been up for about 5 years now I was going to see if that will work! Steven

damn I didn't realize you couldn't have ANY ads whatsoever...so EPN has can be your ONLY ads on your site? no adsense at all (even after you are accepted)?

| I'm not too sure about that. I applied with a site that had adsense on it and got accepted right away. Mind you, ALL the other criteria were met.

It would really help if we clarified the adsense thing. Why, according to the pdf, is adsense a killer? Is it OK to put adsense in after being accepted? Has anyone done it? Ebay in its wisdom does not say anything about this clearly so how's a person to know. I just got rejected with an antique site that had some adsense in it. I guess I'll just have to make another, let it ripen without any adsense or anything (be a public service) and hope things happen in a year or so. I've been a long time ebay and paypal user with 100% positive feedback and this does kind of leave a bitter taste.
