Hi, I was trying to use Prosper202 (still new to Prosper202) and doing direct linking. For DirectCPV, how do we pass back the KW and URL so that we can track in Prosper202 ? I am trying to get a quick answer as I am setting up the campaigns over the weekend. Thanks. |

To track the KW insert {{keyword}} - to track the URL add {{vurl}} .

Hi Scalper, Thanks for the quick response ! Do I insert {{keyword}} and {{vurl}} in Prosper202 generated link ? Like ............t202kw={{keyword}} Also do you mean to generate each link separately by inserting the "keyword" in the link like "dating","matchmaker" etc ? I am new to Prosper202. Thanks again ! |

You are right, {{keyword}} is just the placeholder for the kw insertion. So you just generate your link for your DirectCPV campaign and insert: domain.tld/tracking/.../in/dl.php?....&t202kw={{keyword}} That's it. Of course you can also combine {{keyword}} and {{vurl}} - if you are using both parameters for ad display it could be useful to have also both parameters in your tracking link to prosper/t202.

Hi again, yes, the second version does this job. But you get sometimes unclear results if both placeholders get filled. You could avoid this by using different campaigns (one with keywords and the other with urls). But I think to track rawly which kw/urls are working in most cases the version with both placeholders in one url does this job very well... Greetz, TheScalper

Just use the keyword passthrough option, most cpv networks will have that option. IT will automatically add the keyword to the end of the URL for you, so you don't have to add all that extra keyword code crap.

Keyword passthrough only exists in MediaTraffic and perhaps TrafficVance (don't know) ....

you'd have to ask what directcpv's target passthrough works.

Hehehe. Believe me: I've asked them - they have told me the above parameters. That's it. |

Yes, my Am said that's the only way to do tracking. That's as far as directcpv is concerned. Any successful niche with this network?

Track it like this: &t202kw={{keyword}}--{{vurl}} You need BOTH if you are combining both keywords and urls in your campaign. Directcpv is alright ... some niches work not bad there, some niches don't work at all there (I've tested with $1,000+ on each niche) . Best way is to only do proven niches. |
