Hello, I would like to get the communities input. I've read alot on the forum about this topic but it seems no one has asked this question so, I'm going to ask it. During the application process (to the CPA Networks), it's best practice to be honest the CPA Affiliate manager. But is it really a good idea to say: "Hey I'm a new guy and I do PPC, Blogs and email marketing." Does that line REALLY fly? I don't mean to "beat a dead horse" but every time I tell the truth, it always seems to backfire on me. Thanks again! |

Rich_Jerk The networks are interested in your strengths, skills and perceptions. Try this approach. 'I have X years of ppc marketing experience and consistently achieve converions of x%. My preferred methods of marketing are ppc and organic traffic. I've reviewed your terms of use (make sure you do first) and confirm that my online business strategies are consistent with your network...' Here's an example of a webpage that I submitted to a network that received instant approval. www . selectioncriteriawriter . com / cpa_network_application.html Good luck Glenn Ayrton |

You are over thinking this. Just answer the questions they ask. If you have 0 experience then why are you starting with cpa companies? Every man and his dog wants to get on the CPA bandwagon now. It's so saturated it's not funny. If you have 0 experience then my advice is to start with clickbank or physical products first - less competition and more niches. If you have some experience just give a short blurb in the application ie "Even though I have a website in the X niche, I primarily do ppc marketing (adwords, YSM and MSN) and some article marketing". When you call the network for the final approval just talk about what you hope to promote - ie email submits, rebills etc. That's it - not rocket science people. |

I have told the guy who does all our check up calls on apps that if someone is honest and says they're new and want to start and are not going to do anything blackhat or fraudulent, to accept them. UNLESS there's other red flags. The guys you're talking to can smell bull**** a mile away, so if you feed it to them, best of luck getting in. |

Yes, I have noticed that most networks want honesty over anything else. THey are most concerned with fraud, so if you are newer to the game then they dont mind, as long as you play by the rules. The process is aimed more at weeding out frauds than on weeding out newbies...in my opinion |
