Hey, I have a quick question for you all (particularly any of you who are familiar with Commisson Junction). I got this message from them earlier this month and could use some advice from you. My question is: is there any good strategy to generate at least one or 2 leads or sales for my clients within the 30 days I have? Any advice or suggestions would be helpful. You can get a full list of affiliates of mine via CJ at http://www.snohomish-ebook-store.net/commissionjunction "Dear Ryan Jones, You are receiving this email because your Commission Junction publisher account has not generated any valid commissions during the last five months. Commission Junction is committed to maintaining a dynamic and productive marketplace. Consequently, per the Publisher Service Agreement, we regularly deactivate accounts that are not actively earning commissions and do not have a sufficient balance amount. Your account has been deemed inactive and is scheduled for deactivation in the next 30 days for dormancy. Please note that while your account is deactivated, you will not track or earn commissions and your advertiser relationships may expire. If you no longer wish to keep this account active, simply disregard this email and your account will be deactivated in 30 days. If you wish to continue using this account, there are three ways to accomplish this:

Generate a commission before your account is deactivated. Deactivation will occur 30 days from date of this notice.

If you are unable to generate a commission before your account is deactivated, simply log in to your account within 180 days of deactivation and follow the prompts for reactivation. This will reactivate the account with no consequences other than a loss of tracking between deactivation and reactivation and potentially expired relationships with advertisers.

If you are unable to reactivate your account online, you can call Commission Junction Client Support and request that your account be reactivated. You can contact us at |

Sorry to bump this thread so soon, but I do have an update: I bought one of my own products: the ECA referral program, and so my account should be good for another 6 months. Of course, if you know of any good ways to generate sales with sites like CJ or Linkshare, I could use some of your expertise.

Friends and/or family can help you. Anyone need to book a trip - pick a travel site... Anyone need ________, pick an ______ offer... The above method is not in the spirit of IM, but it will keep your account active while you figure it out. Regards, John |

Does CJ have any CPA offers? I find they are much easyer to promote. Go to adbrite.com and create an acount as an Advertiser and put your banner up. It doesn´t cost much and will keep you in CJ good graces.

| Some of the advertisers pay on a per lead basis at CJ, if that is what you mean by that. I will have to check out adbrite (especially with my new niche based website I am building), though I will probably want work on building a conversion rate with my existing traffic before I can really look into paid advertising. One thing I did do though was that I refered myself to the ECA (one of the advertisers) and got credit for that, and so my CJ account should be good for another 6 months.
