Little bit confused with what you're asking here, but I'll take a stab at it. Are you asking how do impressions related to how much your spending? So if they're showing you an avg cost per click (CPC) of $0.30, and then they say your cost per impressions (CPM) is $0.10, what does that mean? It means that you paid for the clicks, but with the impressions you got, they calculate how much you paid (essentially) for the impressions.
So for the above example, you would have paid $.30 for one click and 3000 impressions. CPM is cost per thousand impressions. So the math is .30 / (3000/1000) = .10 CPM. Does that make sense/help? Hope I answered the right question
