Need some help CPA/affiliates

Hello guys,

i'm a health and fitness advocate who created a health/weight loss supplement that really works and has hundreds of satisfied customers.

The thing is - I want thousands, tens of thousands of repeat customers.

We did a google CPC campaign, but honestly the results were pretty poor. The bounce rate was higher than I would expect for such a nice landing page.

ANyhow, I'm starting to look into CPA and affiliate marketing, but dont know where start as an advertiser.

Can you point me in the right direction(s)?

Get in contact with CPA networks, like Azoogle, Clickbooth or Neverblue.

Btw. your webpage is way to cluttered, no clear focus for me as a customer. Less (what's the most important sales-message?) would be more in that case. You need to work on that. I hope you did not send Adwords traffic to this site...

Should I simply make a different Landing page for adwords or chaneg the homepage?

what is the problem?

the top banner?
side banner?

I would not contact the CPA networks unless you are planning to do a free trial/continuity offer. CPA networks are not ideal for regular retail product sales. You'd be better off with an affiliate network. Shareasale is the most reasonable yet well respected affiliate network.

NOTE: If your Adwords conversions were not very good, then you need to work on fixing your conversion rates BEFORE you start an affiliate program. Does not matter how great the product is, the proof is in the pudding - how many will buy? You need to tweak your offer, content, landing page and get conversions up before launching an affiliate program or it will be a waste of money and will be unfair to affiliates who work for free until a sale is made.

5staraffiliateprograms is right, I wouldn't start with the CPA networks because:

1) Unless it's a rebill offer nobody will promote it over the other weight loss offers.
2) Chances are you aren't prepared for the high volume of traffic (servers), transactions (high risk merchant account), or customer service (call center) required to handle CPA networks.

Start with programs like shareasale and CJ and then maybe your own in house affiliate program. Once you've mastered those two, you can dip into the CPA pool but until then I would stay away.
