Using Google Trends for Cpa & Article Writing

Hi all,

I have a method that I want to use for Cpa offer promotion in fact I read the thread here. Thanks to Dropship.

Anyway- Find a hot trend on Google Trends.

Write an article about hot trend and promote affiliate link (cpa) or poll in article and submit to Articlebase.

So my questions are:

1) Is this still profitable/does it work? I'm sure it depends on niche.

2) How do you nail down a decent Google Trend and run with it?

I guess what I'm hung up on is Google Trends is this:

I think I find a good "hot" trend and I'll go back to Google Trends the next day and the trend I chose is no longer in the list.

3) Does the above even matter? Or more accurately- Are people still searching that trend, even though its not in the trend list?

Any help would be appreciated here-so I can take action.

First, you need to make sure you pick a keyword that will stick around a bit longer than a day or two. For example, kourtney kardashian pregnant will continue to be searched even after the news first breaks (and more people find out about it). Those are the kinds of keywords you want to target.

Once you have those, write some a short, 5-600 word article with SEnuke or do it yourself. Then, somewhere on the article, place a link to an ad (some kind of zip/email submit) and have it related to your content.

People click, enter their info, and you get a cool $0.75 - $2.00 / article - at least that's my general earnings when I tried out his method.

What products could you promote that have to do with Tiger Woods crashing his car? (I'm only being half serious with the question.) Seriously I guess I dont have the creativity to come up with a product connection when I look t Goggle Trends.

Easy. Make a simple poll page with a question about the trend. Once they answer, get them to fill out a cpa offer.

Do email submits and form submits. Nothing with which to use a credit card. Dating offers, win a free phone offers, free walmart giftcard offers, etc. Stuff like that.

This method still does work and I have articles that I set and forget that still make money even after it disappears months after it spikes on google trends.

Defiantly still works. I find that if you bookmark your article and get a backlink or two, they tend to stick around for ages. Traffic will continue trickling in long after the trend has vanished

Anything that earns money is a good plan in my opinion lol. I'm short of change and trying anything that I can!

Exactly, you can make some money while you are building you business or site or whatever. The money you make from these "waste of time" tactics can actually finance your primary business, for example.

I've done this with blog posts and pinging my feed to about 50 ping directories. Never tried submitting articles to places like EZA, will try it though. The Chris Brown Rihanna incident was my first and made a little money with it for a while, even after the first buzz.

I think this method could work but am generally not a fan of Google Trends. You can see the hot trends better on AOL, IMO. And simply by reading news and even by going to Alexa. Google Trends often has old data too.

Trends are more plentiful and you can get gems you could never think of on those other sites. Good method to start making money with if you never have before, and its free.
