Default CPA Input for a Noob

Hi Folks,

Thank you all for contributing to this forum. There is so much value here, and it's great to have this as a resource for running your business.

Currently I'm doing article marketing for a great affiliate program and am looking to generate an additional income stream with CPA campaigns.

Does anyone have experience with CX Digital formerly Incentaclick? Typically, how hard is it to get approved by CPA networks? Also, what are the things they look for before they approve you?

Thanks a ton.

Ken

Nice name Ken!

CXdigital has some great offers and they have been very helpful to me. Good luck, but dont forget to join a few networks to cross test and spread risk.

I'd recommend taking a look at HydraNetwork and AzoogleAds.

Thank you all for taking the time to reply. I have been accepted to Hydra, Azoogle and Maxbounty. We'll see where it goes from here!

I started my first PPC campaign last night using some pretty good keyword research from Wordtracker. I didn't use anything too broad and most of the keywords were long tail. I'm not sure if this is the best way to go with CPA-PPC but I didn't want all the insane competition or to run up my PPC costs through the roof.

Regards,
Ken

Long tail is the way to go. WOnt have the traffic but wont have to pay an arm and a leg per click

Make sure you supplement your efforts with other promotion methods, as PPC can be costly and take some time to master. Always try to get free traffic organically or using free methods.

good luck sir

Hi Ken,

I like your name btw! I am going to set up a review page for dating sites and drive traffic with Article Marketing. This is mostly 'jump in and swim' at this point so we'll see what happens lol.
