Careful with buying leads. In my experience, most purchase leads are not very good. The best are the ones you can generate yourself.

Just a friendly tip, instead of buying leads, just email some marketers who would be interested in promoting your products and services.. Create a good business venture details. Who knows, it will give you much fortune than buying leads :-)

I don't advice buying the leads... You will not know whether leads are targeted and fresh or not.. Instead you can harvest leads from Craigslist (This may sound blackfart to some users).. You can do it manually (it will take a lot of time) or use the software to automate it or hire some one... There are many softwares out there... I use lead-samurai.com (Being owner of this software, I am a bit partial :P)

Buying leads = bad idea unless your a big company. If your a big company and you want good or great leads your talking $35 per lead if they are brand new. They then drop off to about $8 after 2 weeks old. But still that's a pretty penny to spend. Your better of creating a lead capture page and giving away something of value that solves a problem and capture their name and email like that or even address if need be. Thats going to cost you far less then buying leads.

I agree with people here. Buying leads are likely not going to be cost or time effective for you. Generating your own leads would be the route I would recommend.

I had a BAD experience with purchased leads about 18 months ago. I sent some bulk mail to them and I got banned by my webhost. Fortunately for me, the guys at the hosting company were very nice and reactivated my account within one hour, in exchange for my promise that I'll never do that again. I've learned my lesson very well.

Buying leads is ineffective and dangerous.

I have bought "targeted "traffic" leads and found that they did not work out. The seller's promised a certain amount of "targeted" traffic. Well, none of the "targeted traffic" did anything, they clicked and they left. No free report, no buy, nothing. I think it was just a 'bot click.

Never bought a debt lead that I could use (from a lead selling firm). Better off generating your own.

Besides leads I have generated from my own sites, I have found one way to get a small quanity of quality exclusive leads. I know some guys that have sites that generate just a handful of leads/week. Their volume is too small for an end user to deal with. They just send them to me real time and I add them to my lead count.

Trick is that I know the guys I am taking leads from and know that they would not double (or triple) sell them.

Think IM'er no longer pay for directory listings? They do at Dirmania

What exactly are you looking for? Your initial post asked about buying leads.

Instead of first starting to buy leads from anyone. Give them a commission of the profit you earn (to test the quality of the leads).

Then when you feel secure that the leads are good, then go ahead to purchase from them as leads.

Just find people who have highly responsive email lists in your market. That will be the quickest and probably most targeted way to generate some leads until you get your LP's better optimized for PPC.
