What is the Max / Limit of AdGroups in a Campaign?

Hey All,

So I have a campaign (let's call it "Test") in AdWords and I plan to promote on the Content Network.

In one of the PPC Training courses I'm taking, they recommend using 1 keyword per adgroup (for tracking etc)

I'm just wondering, how many Keyword/AdGroups can I make before I hit a max?

I've heard numbers from 50 - 100, all the way up to 2500 AdGroups in a single campaign?!

Have any of you had a campaign with thousands of AdGroups (with single keywords inside even?)

no i have never done a campaign for any such company. do they really exist.. i dont know much....

A poster on this forum thread claims it is 2000
Ad Group limit?

Im pretty sure the limit is 100, however if you contact Google then they can increase it up to 2000 for you.

Im pretty sure the limit is 100, however if you contact Google then they can increase it up to 2000 for you. Hope this helps.
