I'm curious as to exactly how people are using wordpress plugins to create their polls. I installed one, but it just is able to go into the sidebar, and I'm not sure how visitors will notice it easily. Also, how do you link an affiliate offer in these polls.
I'd love to see an example if someone wouldn't mind, in a PM if you'd like. Thanks so much! EDIT: I was using WP polls, so I got Easy Polls Instead. However, how do I make the poll page appear as the landing page? If I go to the subdomain that the poll subject is on, it is just the typical wordpress homepage. How do I make it the actual poll where the visitor can answer yes/no? |

Install WP Easy Polls. Once installed, create new polls through the new widget. Each poll is created as a new page. It has a great interface were you can add all the info about your polls, rss seed keyword and even add multiple offers to rotate.
Polls are all about tracking. Get to know how to use Tracking 202/Prosper 202 and you should be fine with polls. People are making $30 to $100 per day with polls and PPC. Hope that helps.

Hey cash, I actually bought your wso about polls. Poll factory is good; however, the domain i used for poll factory got slapped by google. Wordpress will buy you a bit more time with google as google loves Wordpress. You even get a good quality score too. My 2 cents. Tommy | |

Since WP Easy Polls makes a new page, is the poll page the one you bookmark? I don't really wanna do PPC since I don't think I'd make money on a email/zip submit. I'd like to do the trends method as several warriors have been doing. So that brings me to the question of if I link to the main subdomain page of my poll URL, or to the specific page on that subdomain.
For instance: I have www.MyPollSiteExample.com I have a subdomain with the trend keyword -http://Keyword.MyPollSiteExample.com Then I have a page on http://Keyword.MyPollSiteExample.com/PollPage I would assume that I should bookmark the poll page itself, but when google indexes it, what page will it display as a search result? Is it just a crapshoot? I don't want people to end up at the subdomain homepage and not have any obvious poll to vote on. |

If you use a subdomain, you just need to bookmark that subdomain. subdomain.domainname.com. You will setup a redirection for the subdomain to the poll page. So the punter will end up at domainname.com/pollpage. Alternatively, you can just bookmark it directly domainname.com/pollpage. Using subdomains is a good way; however, you'll need to create a lot of subdomains for the different trends and some hosting companies have a limit on the subs you're allowed.
If you setup the redirection, it doesn't matter what google does, the punter will end up at the poll page either way. |
