Which affiliates provide the most profitable automated ads that are relevant to your content?

Hi guys

I was wondering who are the best at automatically tailoring their ads to your content “set and forget” affiliates, i.e. offer a solution that will automatically target the ads to the content on each webpage in the same way that Google adsense does. I need something like this because I run websites where the users add the content and I don’t have the time to select and add a product for every single post, I really do need something that’s automated but displays ads that’s relevant to the content. So other than adsense which I have not really found to be very profitable and from what I have read do not have the greatest reputation when it comes to making money, are there any others that are both profitable and automate the display of ads relevant to the content?

I have tried the Amazon Omakase widget which is meant to serve ads based on my sites content as well as other factors and granted it’s only been four or five days maybe it needs more time to spider my site, but so far the ads have not been relevant to the content of the specific webpage’s in anyway what so ever. Could it be because I have too many webpage’s on too many different subject and it can’t decide the overall theme of my site, although that’s not a problem for adsense it always serves an ad that’s totally relevant to the specific webpage, regardless of whether my web site covers many different themes?

There is also the Amazon product cloud widget, which is also meant to be contextual and as far as I am aware is meant to serves ads just based on the context of the specific webpage, but I don’t particularly like the way it just serves a load of jumbled title tags, I prefer the way in which the Omakase widget presents them.

The other thing the Amazon support people suggested is using the keyword search feature for generating related links and that maybe I could find my own solution that would automate this, so I was wondering is there a word press plug-in or something that’s on the market that will automatically generate related Amazon ads, perhaps that are based on something like the title or tags of the post.

Anyway before I start to rabbit on, what I basically would like to know is:

1. Are there any other ways (other than the Omakase and product cloud widget) for automating Amazon ads that are relevant to the content of your individual webpage’s?

2. Also and I am probably dreaming here but is there a way to do the same for clickbank?

3. Are there any other affiliates that are reasonably profitable and automatable in this way?

I really am grateful for any pointers on this issue.
