Ok Warriors, here goes.
After compiling all of the great advice I've received here in recent weeks, I put it all into action. I did some keyword research and decided to build an entire website about this one keyword. I spent this entire week writing articles on this one keyword alone and how it applies to different physical conditions. I made sure I followed google webmaster tools VERBATIM. Everything checked out perfectly. Everything on this site is seo optimized for this keyword and a few related ones. The site runs 5 pages deep and is full of outbound links ( I also have 3-4 backlinks from page rank 6 sites). So I decided to drive traffic via AdWords, the bane of my existence. In our friendly quality score section, I ranked an amazing "3" for the keyword I based my site on, and as high as 7 for COMPLETELY UNRELATED KEYWORDS that were never even mentioned in my articles. Not once! They had ZERO relevance to my articles. I'm starting to wonder if I'll even figure this thing out. I'm paying through the nose on clicks even after following google's advice on "google friendly sites". Someone who is willing to spend a few minutes on AIM talking about the basics of AdWords, please let me know. I've done all I can do at this point. Thanks in advance, Ken |

Adwords is a difficult beast to master - and after they banned re-bills I got away from it.
Make sure you have a contact page, about us page, and disclosure page. Make sure your H1 tags are set to your keyword etc,. I assume your site hasn't gone through the manual review process, right? Zach P.S - I'm not qualified in the least to answer this question in depth. You may want to ask this also in the PPC sub-forum |

For keyword relevance they mainly look at title, meta data, h1, h2 tags and the other sites you link to. Find some authority sites/links about your topic and link to them off to the side or in the footer.

* CPA WSO REVIEWS * "100% UNIQUE" - "AMAZING METHOD!" - "I MADE $1000" - "IT'S NOT RECYCLED CRAP!"
It has NOTHING to do with: PPC,PPV, SEO, media buys, craigslist, email submits, polls, incentive offers, gateways, forums, google trends, ewhoring, myspace, youtube, videos, web 2.0, social networking, ebay, get paid to sites, buying leads etc... |
