$10,000 in my first month! No, that IS NOT a claim of accomplishment. That is MY GOAL for THIS month!
It is Sunday, November 1, 2009. I have yet to make my first dollar in CPA. But I'm going to do it this month, and you can follow me here as I do it. I intend to post here daily to document my activities and results. I will be as specific as I can be, without giving away niches or trade secrets. Feel free to ask questions or make suggestions. This is a group think exercise! Hopefully everyone will learn from the process, even the lurkers BUT ESPECIALLY ME!A bit about me: I'm not a total noob, but I am brand new to CPA. I have made a little money with affiliate marketing, but not nearly enough to live on. I have been on the WF for close to 2 years now, and a War Room member for several months. (HIGHLY recommended!). I have purchased quite a few WSO's and other IM products elsewhere. Someday I'll add it up so I'll know my break even point, but if I were to hazard a guess I would say I have probably shelled out over $5,000 on "make money" products and services, and no, I have not come close to breaking even. I intend to change that this month! I've got Christmas presents to buy in December!! I MUST make money this month, and I am committed to doing it with CPA. THIS IS MY FULL TIME JOB. My only distractions are those of life: a wife, 2 kids, a dog, 2 vehicles, a house, football on the TeeVee ... etc. Wish me luck, help me out, or get the heck out of my way! Negativity will not be tolerated. Failure is NOT an option! On to success in CPA!!! The process begins... One of my more recent purchases was a WSO called CPA Marketers Bootcamp by Don and Jeremy. I got in late, long after it was over, but even so I found it very informative. Probably my most useful purchase so far. As of October I have been accepted into three CPA networks -- MaxBounty, Market Leverage, and Azoogle. (Getting accepted is the easy part!) I have dabbled a bit, using the methods from the bootcamp, but have not made any money yet. To be frank, I've been a little leery about promoting the pages I've built. I'm not completely comfortable with "dark sombrero" methods... plus after researching some of the offers I intended to promote, it seems most of the world sees them as scams. I don't really want to promote scams... I am fortunate to be in the position of having some cash in the bank, so I can afford to spend some money on advertising. I will be drafting a personalized, detailed plan later today, but in general my path will follow the process spelled out by SteveAC in his post "How I make Four Figures a day with CPA: How I Make Four Figures a day with CPA Resources I have at my disposal include: - cash in the bank to live on and for ad spends, as aforementioned - a reseller hosting account ($15/month) - a Get Response account ($20/month) - accounts with 3 CPA networks - a ton of PLR materials - experience in writing, editing, and graphics - a wireless network at home with a Mac and a PC - a high-speed cable connection ($25/month) I'm sure there's more, but that's what comes to mind at the moment. Time to get off the forum and get to work. Stay tuned! |

The very best of luck, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this thread and your progress
October was my first month in CPA, and I made $70 - not a bad start but I want to make a LOT more than that. Again, thanks for sharing this with us and good luck

Probably so hundreds of threads arent bumped solely for following users.
I think they should create a "follow me" section of the forum for those who would like to see "case studies" of successful warriors |

I think it would be a good thread once you can outline what you did that worked and what didn't.
It might not be deleted - just know that Admin posted at one time that the "my goal" threads should be on blogs. That may have changed. kay |

![]() I'm not sure - ones that are posted in the main part of the forum seem to be deleted, but I've seen ones in the SEO part of the forum remain. Again though, I think Dexx's idea is a great one. | |

Good luck on your journey! 5k in make money products is a lot and I think you need to focus on action this time around. In cpa, you dont need to be an expert in really anything to make great money, you just have to be willing to sit down, get to work and keep implementing. Keep taking action.
Make sure you set up a schedule every day that says what you will be doing throughout the day. This will keep you on track and focused on taking action. Its very very very easy to read and learn all day every day, but that wont make you money...actually putting your knowledge to action is what makes money. I dont mean to sound like a repeating record, its just such a critical point and the reason many people never make money online. |

oh wait, when I read your thread, I noticed you said that this is your full time job
I'm glad that you are determined to do it that much, but I have to say this: it's great risk bro. In order to quit your job to do full time business you should fulfill 2 conditions: 1- Have a stable business for at least 3 months 2- Have enough money to survive at least 6 month without making any money from your business And remember you are not single. You have the responsibility with your wife, kids, dogs, house, cars and a bunch of stuffs. I can live with just $1000 a month(trust me, I used to live with even less than that) because I'm single, I can afford to do that, but you have things that you need to care for and not to mention that you NEED money to make money, you have to have something to invest in your business I think you should seriously reconsider this decision, this is not a game that you can play and quit anytime. You can take it safe like doing a side job while working on this. I know another guy here who go to school full time, work outside and have time to work on CPA and he still make lots of money from it depend on what you are doing, it can take something to achieve that 10k, but I think it will be a long road. It shouldn't be something that you can do in 1 month, and 1 month is shorter than you think anyway, good luck, I will keep visiting this thread to see your progress. I truly wich you can do it because it will be a god inventive for myself too |

Hmm interesting thread.. my goal in numbers is far more conservative 500.00 is all I want to see for now and I have 10 cpa accounts at my disposal including neverblue and clickbooth. I've read sooo much stuff and have many strategies that I have been trying to impliment but it seems like the trade secrets to making this thing a gold mine cash cow are highly regarded confidential it would seem. Looking at all the different seo hats out there nothing has really done it for me yet but I'm still working diligently.
I do get what one commenter said about taking action is where most people fall off.. well the way I feel about it is that I've invested too much damn time to just let it fail. But that's just my two cents. |

Thanks for the encouragement and suggestions. First, I have decided to go the blog route after all, so I don't have to worry about this thread getting killed by the moderators. Find it at 10K in CPA.
I have posted only my "announcement" so far, but that's where the action will be from here on out. Kay: It's already a good thread for me. I'm learning already. But I intent to outline what I do, what works and what doesn't, in grand detail. Stay tuned. Kenster: Couldn't agree more! Taking action and focus is the purpose of this thread! I am a fan of the "declare and fulfill" method of goal setting. I have now publicly declared my intention. Now I will set about fulfilling that intention. We can all watch to see how well it works! yukinara: All points duly noted, thanks for the reminder! And believe me, I know how short a month is! This month is even shorter due to the holiday--I'm sure there are some days I won't be able to work on this at all. And while 10K may be a lofty goal, you know what they say -- "shoot for the moon..." cg101: my first month's affiliate marketing goal was $100. I just missed it with $85 in sales. My second month's was $200. I just missed that one with $160 in sales. My third month's goal was $500. Guess what? I fell short with sales just over $400. Notice the trend? So my first month's CPA goal is $10,000.... stay tuned! |

If you are the kind of person that wont give up if they dont achieve their goal but will rather push harder and harder to achieve it next time, then good on you and you will do well in this industry. THink huge and you will at least earn big.
If you are the type of person who gets frustrated easily and will quit if you only earned $500 instead of your goal $10,000, then perhaps you should re-evaluate your goal. At the end of the day, you seem plenty motivated to do well in this industry and I have 100% confidence in you. Good luck |

If you've gone through all of the material from Don and Jeremy, then all I can say is put it into action and you WILL make money. Put it into action with your own twists and you will make MORE money. That bootcamp added a couple zeros to my CPA paychecks.

You're writing skills and PLR stuff doesn't mean much because there is no way you can go from 0-10k in a month with any type of articles/seo stuff. You need to go after all the paid advertising services...

Start with promoting a CPA offer on your blog, instead of adsense. It will get you a jump start on your goal.
