Hey thanks. I did just that and it got me approved to two affiliate networks! BTW I have a website it just isnt... optimized yet. So here is my latest question. Am I allowed to link directly to cpa offers landing page from google ads or do I need to create my own and link from there?? If so... WHY??

Correct me if I am wrong but dynamic keyword insertion only works for the search network. On the content network your ads are displayed on a website by keyword relevancy not what somebody has searched for. When I tried this on the content network my ads defaulted to the default keyword and then when somebody clicks on my ad the default keyword did not carry through to the landing page, it just showed up as "Free {keyword}". BTW, I had to change all my ads from "Walmart" to "Retail Card" as Google and Yahoo would not allow it (trademark). |

Can someone explain dynamic keyword insertion a little better to me? I still don't know how to get it to function with my ad's/website and yes I read the link p2y provided. Do I need to change anything on my website or am I simply inserting the {KeyWord:warriorforum} into my ad title? ___ Somehow I have finally created a website complete with landing page, about us and contact us. I have a google ad running in the content network AND an offer for people to click on. This has been a tremendous learning curve for me and it has taken a week but it has been rather exciting actually... It's now time for me to learn about SEO and building a better landing page... |

Hi Guys. It's my first post to the forum. For the last couple of weeks I've been going through the forum, reading tutorials and trying to understand the CPA game as much as possible. To make it short - I would really like to get successfully into the game. What I've done so far - applied for affiliate networks (got accepted by MaxBounty and FluxAds), created Adwords account, followed exactly the thread to create an e-mail submit campaign. But somehow for 2 days now the statuses of the ads are always "Under review". I even deleted the whole campaign and created a new one, but still the same. Can anyone tell me what's wrong? I tested with some other simple campaigns and these got approved in minutes. P2Y - thanks a lot for the post, it was perfect for a beginner like me. I'm also amazed how helpful all the other members are. Such a valuable reading. |

Has anyone been able to successfully create a campaign? I now have 17 ad groups with 79,607 impressions, 35 clicks & 0 in earnings for the last 7 days I can totally see the potential with this campaign but it is clear that I am missing something big here & I don't know what. I guess I will just keep testing & adjusting. |

there could be other reasons as well. but in general some ads take longer time to be approved than others. has a lot to do with keywords, your ad content, and etc. make sure your campaign is accourding to adword rules.

Thanks Satrap. My adds got the status "Approved (limited)" now. What could be the reason? I suspect 2: 1) I am using "replica" as one of the keywords (Which Yahoo did not allow at all), 2) The text on the landing page doesn't give much value (mainly jubberish about on what and how the used could use the free gift card for). If my landing page was manually checked, then because of that? Or can it be something else? P2Y, how many impressions and clicks would one expect with that strategy of 10 keyword groups? I've got ~200 impressions with my approved-limited status during a day. That's way too low... |

My campaign has been running now for several days, but I don't get impressions at all, just a few hundred. No clicks. I set the bid price to 0.21, but nothing changed... Should I choose another keyword then?

This is some great information. Quick question about editing the landing page you supplied. If we open it in frontpage and get it looking like we want, with new graphics and article info, we have to save it as a .php for it to work, correct? Thanks for all the help. Michael |

Sounds like a low QS. You need more content on your site. Forget the dynamic keyword insertion on your site. Only use it in your ads. Get some PLR material and add a couple of pages of content linking to your landing page. Throw in some content on your LP as well but place it at the bottom of page so your lander still looks like a lander. Keep to the basic lp structure: Order Now, Get Yours Today! etc. Also try driving some traffic to your offer through articles before setting up a PPC campaign. This will give you some valuable information. You will see if your LP converts at all, you will get some idea about conversion rates and keywords. Test several LPs with different offers. Write tons of articles to gather data |

Just fired up my campaign, paying about 20-25 cents a click, so far 1k impressions and 3 clicks no conversions, got about 300 keywords, so I am gonna use 10 bucks to find out what keywords are good and what are bad, then just simply create custom landing pages for each keyword group, looking good hopefully |

anyone else know of any similar posts with other campaigns/methods for profiting with adwords? please post the link... I've got $110 in adwords credit and am trying to find a good type of method to use it to set up a nice little profit system.... Yeah Butters, I think you're paying way too much for click... .20 - .25 with the payouts only $1.05-$1.50 not impossible, but tough to profit with those margins IMHO... maybe go for mispellings etc... |

For those of you having trouble getting impressions, the first thing you need to do is buildup your keywords. Keep in mind that this is mostly targeting products so the bigger and broader your keyword list is the better, if you still can't get any impressions after doing that then up your bids a little (2 cents at a time) and go from there.

I hate to be that guy, but I'm going to. If you do this method, you will end up getting banned from adwords. You cannot direct link to an email or zip submit offer anymore. This method did work about 2 years ago, but not anymore. Now, that said, you CAN still do this on the second tier ppc engines and have it work without risking your account(s). |

Coach is right, you can most definitely get banned doing this because you're sending traffic to a crap landing page. Google hates bridge pages and thousands of affiliates are getting banned for running them. In regards to keyword insertion, it doesn't work on the content network for the ads. It only works on search. Why? Because content network doesn't go by keywords. It goes by the theme of the adgroup. So don't bother with keyword insertion. Just test out a bunch of different ad headlines and see which ones gets more clicks. |

| No because the landing page doesn't make a difference. Bridge pages are bad. Do them and you'll get banned. End of story. The only way to honestly succeed on adwords with CPA offers at the moment is by cloaking. Sorry, but it's the truth.

P2y, Hi P2y, I noticed you were using Google Content Network, I was a bit confused when you were using {keyword:shoes} examples in the Headline, Display URL and Destination URL, can you elaborate a little more. I also wanted to say thank you for the information, best I've seen so far and you have a great heart which will go a long way. I also wanted to ask you if you have time, do you know how to find targeted websites that use the content networks, such as Adbrite, etc. I was thinking of trying to find CPA offers that are targeted towards a certain crowd, say women in their 30-40 age range that are looking for {shoes} that are in a certain geographical location in the US? I thought ALEXA.com would do it. Oh yeah, I downloaded the suggest program and it would not work for me on PC. Or anyone in fact, if you want to jump in and give your answers will help. Thanks |

| even with a lander, u can't run such offers on yahoo. they manually review and DISAPPROVE such offers. but i think coach missed one thing here: not all email submits is bad or not allowed. walmart gift card such not allowed, but some other "legit" type of email submits, like thinkfamily etc. is ok with yahoo at least. |

I can tell you're obviously frustrated with the varying amounts of hype/lies/mistruths/overstatements/etc that you can find here or any IM forum, but let me clarify a few things since my name got thrown in the mix: 1. My case study was just that, a documented experience that I did as a test to have others learn from. My intention isn't/wasn't to sell anything, but rather to provide feedback on what I was doing, issues I faced and what I did to overcome them. Everyone has their own way of doing CPA offers, so I was trying to shed light on how I was approaching the concept. 2. I stopped updating my case study for two reasons...(1) there was very little feedback so I didn't think enough people were getting value out of it to have me continue to update it, and (2) I was not getting the numbers to work for me. In the end of that test, the only way to get significant traffic was to bid higher and at that point it the campaign wasn't profitable. However, that doesn't mean this method doesn't work! Let me explain... First, I was not doing Walmart giftcards, but rather Free Grocery zip submits. Since I was going after cheaper traffic, I needed a TON of long tail keywords and thus, only picked one small variation...cereals! That's right, I had/have segmented campaigns/adgroups/text ads for all cereal brands, along with combination of different "qualifiers" (cheap, free, coupon, etc). So while this method didn't financially work for me in the cereal niche, I could easily expand it out to crackers, drinks, meats, dairy, etc and it could be wildly successful in one niche, but a money-sucker in others. That's the point and VALUE in testing...you can't relay on forum posts from me or other folks, you'll only know if it truly works for you IF YOU DO IT YOURSELF! And during my testing, I learned two helpful tactics that I'm now implementing in my other campaigns (using dynamic dates to create a sense of urgency, and traffic regeneration using an exit pop). My suggestion is to use this board differently than maybe you have been. Try starting your first campaign(s) and reach out to the members here to ask for input on what you're doing. There are some VERY experienced marketers who are willing to help, but you have to ask the right questions. When people ask "how to I make a million on CPA" no one can or will answer that. If after you've tried your own campaign and ask "how can I increase my click-through-rates from my landing page to my CPA offer" you might get more direct responses such as "mimic the style of the landing page, or put a video on your pre-sell page, or use a dynamic date script for sense of urgency, etc" Believe me, you get 100X more value out of trying something yourself than you do in reading all the hype posts on here on how some "newbie made $500k in 24 hours with a secret CPA offer he stumbled upon from an ancient Chinese magician in the Himalayas" ...sounds like a title for some WSO's I've seen ![]() ...coming off my soap-box now! - Jeff

First of all i dont like this guy!!!! i use campagns very similar to this to make great profit i wont tell you my little area but i will say this works very very well.... worst one of these i have going for ever 1.20 i spend i make 2.75... best one is about 1-4.... not drop dead rich but it deff doubles the bank account when i run them...Tips. Use The google suggestion tool he shared. Here is how i use it... say for example ur root is Pizza.... type in pizza hit suggest... then hit suggest again...should come out with about 132.. now break those up into 3 groups... group them how u like and those are three add groups u use... i know someone already metioned but i am re stating google only takes the first 50 keywords so you have to break them up. 2. And in my mind most important tip is your LANDING PAGE... if you have 10 people go to your landing page but 0 to offer you make 0!!!! Make it short catchy... and i either an article or video below stating why they get the free offer..... The sample he gave sucks but its just that an example.. the setup is good, he gets the point across and it converts!!! 3. i dont know if you can call this a tip... but its just what i do... i have all... and i do mean all of my email submit landing pages on the same url... i get 7-9 scores usually and they are all 1 pages simple to the point pages... 4. KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID I really enjoyed that this info is out on warrior form at the same time i dont like sharing the profit |
