Hi all, this is my first post here on WF........been lurking and learning here for over a year. I'm going to be trying out some offline marketing methods for some CPA campaigns. I have an interesting way of tracking, although I will admit now that it won't be anywhere near as precise as online tracking. So why am I trying offline?......PPC imo, is too saturated and just to expensive. I have checked with my various AMs to make sure "offline" traffic is acceptable, and it is. I'll get into more detail regarding my methods of distribution later on, but suffice it to say that my "offline clicks" will be costing no more than $0.10. Gotta run..........any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Frank |

Frank, Interested in where you will be getting your "offline click" less than $0.10. I'm like you and think this might be less competitive. Sabatian |

when running ads is say - a newspaper, i assume an offline click means a visit from the url presented. say you are advertising teeth whitening with the url great-teeth-whitening.com on the ad. $100 ad with 1000 clicks would be $0.10 a click |

Sorry, for not posting tonight, was watching WS, go Yankees!!!!! (I'm from NY) "Offline Clicks" Based on the way I intend to distribute my flyers/postcards, employing "barkers" so to speak,............ whoever takes a flyer/postcard will have at least a minimum interest in the broader market in which the product of the campaign exists. So everyone that takes a postcard/flyer/business card will at least look at it. To me that qualifies it as a "click" My cost per click is $0.10 because for 10,000 pieces, printing and distribution will cost a little under $1000. Above all, the locales where the campaigns will be promoted, will be related to the offer in some way. The campaigns will start next week. BTW, I have no idea if this will work but I will keep everyone up to date. Peace |

Personally...I've examined the offline CPA model and IMO...the costs can be higher than going PPC.

In Time Square for example, between 4:30PM and 7:PM, you could have 50,000 people walking past my distributor. Also there will be targeted distribution: Car ins Quotes: Offered at DMV offices and parking lots Scholarship or Grant offers: In front of Colleges and community colleges etc. One thing I know you need offline is a good imagination. Like I said previously, I'll be starting distribution in a week or so and once I gather some real data I'll be sharing here. My first run will be for 5000 pieces which will take 2-3 to distribute CORRECTLY. Totaly cost of printing and distribution will be $500 Peace

Hey man, offline stuff is good, I've made some money doing it... But you did mention that ppc is to saturated, no it is not! try other search engines, some of those things are untouched. Micah Rush |

Offline cpa is the first time I made any real money in cpa. Back when I began and wasnt gaining traction in ppc, I hit the roads and did all kinds of flyering, pull of tabs, business cards etc and the results were amazing (for a newbie at least). You can easily make upwards of $600 on a weekend with free trial offers, you just need to build a landing page thats decent for offlien traffic, and the most important part is getting the people who see your flyers to actually go to your domain. that means.. 1. domain thats easy to remember and looks legit (.com and no subdomain) 2. catchy title. probably the most important part 3. copy needs to have expiration. If people dont feel rushed to go to your domain immediately, they probably never will. In the end, there is huge potential for those willing to put in the work. There is a lot of work involved but its a good way for newer people to make a decent amount per day. check with am as well...some ams and networks dont like offline |

4X6 double sided color with glossy finish 1 offer on one side, 2 related offers on the back, maybe even a clickbank product. My concern is that more than one offer may confuse or detract the person who receives it and they end up doing nothing as a result. At the same time I don't want to lose valuable advertising space. What would we advise? One offer or more than one but related? Thanks in advance........ Peace

PMd you. One of my most profitable offline flyer campaigns was a double offer. On the front was an OFFER FOR HIM and on the back was an OFFER FOR HER This way you hit every gender and dont seem like your pushing to much and therefore detracting the person as you said. Worked like a charm! best of luck |

Ya Sure, Bing is one that is big, and is going to get much bigger. Microsoft has committed 100 million in advertising and getting people to switch from google to bing searching.... If I were you, I would be looking very hard at Bing... Also there is Ask.com, there another growing search engine that is one to take serious. Not to mention yahoo witch you already covered. There are actual alot of them, you can search around for other search engines. Micah Rush |
