I know this sounds pathetic (I'm not a newb). In the last few months I've been unable to get more than 5 clicks a day on average. I'm running about 4 fully loaded/optimized campaigns in Google Content, Yahoo, and Bing. In the past, I've made thousands with a combination of linking directly and using landing pages. Now, I've been using nothing but landing pages in all 3 engines and cannot get NOTHING (no more than a few hundred impressions a day atleast). I used to pay no more than 20 cents a click and I've uped my bids to 50 cents which estimate good positions but the ads just won't show enough. The only thing I know of is quality score and the content on your landing page. I've have plenty of content on my landing pages. Any suggestions?

Why don't you try some other types of traffic as well

MySpace, conversions were too low. Facebook, wont approve ads. I tried direct media buys but the webmasters never respond to my emails. Pulse360, CTR too low, click costs are too high. Ask.com, doesn't convert. I'm considering PPV next.

PPV can be a good alternative; I have also noticed that it converts better with email/zip submits offers.

Hey Mark,

A couple of things to think about here...

1. Check your quality score for your keyword (yes, it's important even on Content network). Make sure you have a privacy policy, disclaimer, outgoing links, plenty of content. If you're doing text ads, remember Content network is considered "interruption marketing" so your headlines need to be striking (much different than search network). Try blowing out a ton of long tail phrases, ensure your campaigns/adgroups are grouped effectively. Try picking some of the managed content sites vs the auto. Don't do any direct linking if you're doing affiliate/CPA offers, ensure your landing page has relevant content to your adwords keyword

2. Facebook - You mentioned your ads are getting rejected?? Any reason you can think of? My ads are always getting approved, and it's for testing CPA so I even do direct linking (via cloacked redirects) and haven't had problems.

3. If you're going to test CPV traffic, try DirectCPV.com as their minimum is only $100, you can do all the targeting you'll need (URL, keyword, GEO), and in my first tests the traffic is decent (I've been testing it for list building and minor email submits)

If you really made thousands you know that there are more than 1 ways to skin this cat. Keep trying offers + traffic sources. Bing + Flog isn't the only way to make money.
