So, I had plenty of time to learn all about internet marketing.

My very first foray into adwords + CPA was a HUGE success. I took the "webfetti" offer on Azoogle, it's a myspace toolbar, bid on one keyword on the content network "myspace", and proceeded to make about $5,000 that month off of that ONE KEYWORD.

I quit my job shortly after that. The webfetti gravy train didn't last long, and I ventured into other niches, insurance, information, education, and dating.

Dating is still my bread and butter. The networks pay $2-$4 for a free sign up, and believe me, convincing single guys to sign up for a free lead in hopes they'll get laid is, and always will be, an easy sell.

One of these days we'll look back and call these the "Good Old Days" of affiliate marketing.

So for you guys who aren't getting involved and trying new things, I recommend you start now. My first attempt was a huge success. I've had many failures since then, but I've learned from them all.

It's only going to get harder from this point on, so I'd recommend that you new guys get started as soon as possible. There's money to be made right now. No one knows where affiliate marketing will be in 10 years, I'm cashing in while I can, I recommend that you do the same.

Good luck!

Build a list

PPC >> to >> squeeze page >> to >> CPA offers

Use CPA offers to monetize your list.

... and, even use your own products to sell to that list

do JV's and build the niche list even larger

add in membership sites on the backend.
this sums up the entire concept in a few sentences where one could write a book to sell.

Great share Eric!

Yea Scott,

You will not regret it. The more you learn (and put into action), the more you will make.

Lots of people are disparaging PPC on here.

I want people to be sure... there are lots of folks out there pulling in literally over $1,000/day profit because of PPC.

If you want a ton of traffic fast, and you DON'T have a list, it would seem that PPC is the way to go (especially if you can't afford media buys).

I'm spending easily $100-$150/day on Adwords, and that's nothing! But it's well worth the spend, I promise ;-)

Yea this CPA thing is pretty amazing...Coaches out of no where....AC thread shows people struggling still after 8 weeks and thousands of dollars later, and some are making $1400 a day? Wow.

That 30k in a week means over 4 Grand a day.

Crazy thing is..is that there is alot of truth and alot of BS at the same time.

I want to try this, but I am clueless about much of what has been discussed so far. CPA? I know what PPC means. Is it possible to get some kind of "dummies" information via ebook, or perhaps I could use a mentor. Just FYI, I am very sceptical of anyone claiming to be making $1000 a day. However, I am a restaurant manager and would like to quit my job. I would have to be able to replace an income of about $55,000 a year. Is this REALLY possible, or is this just something someone will tell me I can do in order to sell me something?

Believe the hype hunterron. It takes work, dedication, and 100% belief, but I WILL be making $1,000/day by September...

In terms of learning - everything you need to know is here or on similar forums starting with WF.

If you want to replace a $55,000 job, it IS possible, but it requires work. It's not just a get rich quick scheme. You're going to have to put up money, long hours, and also know that none of us can predict where this industry will be in 2 years. My plan is to get in hard, make as much money as I possibly can as quickly as I can, and then see what happens. I'm not anticipating that I'll be able to do this for the rest of my life - but it's working now, and it's definitely possible to make a full-time living... I made nearly $1,000 this week in profit - if I can keep that up, that amounts to your job as restaurant manager! But no guarantees - I could see that drop to zero tomorrow, or I could see it triple. Depends on the work, and testing, and testing, and more testing. I wish you the best of luck!

I am not afraid of work, or long hours. When you say "put up money", how much money am I going to need to invest to get started?

You don't just "put up" a block of money, but in initial spending for domains, hosting, sites, and ad testing I would say $500-1000.

Great thread! When doing PPC to market CPA how do you actually implement the Adwords conversion tracking code on the offer to determine if your paid traffic is actually converting and making you a profit?

Scott, thanks for sharing. I have been running Adsense and didn't even manage to buy shoestrings from what I still think is a really great site in terms of content (and by that I mean a really great site in terms of content) - one that is going to stay for years simply due to its sheer content value. The money earning is still almost 0 every day, including absolutely 0 on some days. That is fine, now that I realize the site is good, I am no longer interested in money from it, in my career goals it might go much beyond what money can buy with a bit of luck.

Having said all that, I don't mean I am not interested in earning enough to quit a day job. So, your story comes as a great inspiration. And I hope many of us also get to where you could go today!

Good luck.

You have the right idea Ken, Make CPA a part of your Overall Internet Marketing Arsenal. That way when the fast paced world wide web changes you can adapt right along with it without total reliance on one source of income.
