Default media traffic - question

I want to target a url with media traffic.

How does this look like when I enter my keyword?

If I wanted to target www.ebay.com then I would enter it ebay.com?

Thanks,

Aaron

If you really want to target ebay (and every subpage) you should enter "www.ebay.com" or "ebay.com" with the quotation marks. But I don't suggest to target the big players on the www very broad - you'll run out of budget in a very very short time....

I thought media traffic doesn't allow the www before the domain in your keyword list?

Ask mediatraffic themselves, but as I remember, do not put the "www" as their system does not need it.

You would enter it exactly as follows (including quotes): "ebay.com"

However, do NOT do this. This an extremely high traffic URL and you will burn through your daily limit in a flash. Since it is top level domain, you will not make sales because it is not tightly targeted. You may think it is, but I assure you,,, it is not!

Regards,

John

What is the difference between targeting ebay .com with or without quotes?

Are there different results?

Use this method when targeting URL's. "target" = URL without query string

It will keep you from triggering on the keyword ebay and it makes a significant difference when targeting specific pages.

ex: you are targeting a health offer and you want to target the health page URL of a website like the New York Times. You only want to target that page and not the main site. Set it up as "SomeBigSite/HealthPageOnly.html"

Regards,

John
