Default Ridicilous ClickBank Stats

Is anyone else experiencing extremely shady clickbank stats? I've noticed that I haven't had any sales in a about 3 weeks which is very unusual. After logging in to my account, I saw these stats:

Order form impression count: 38

Order form submit count: 13

Sales: 0

Out of 13 submitted orders, 0 went through?

Depends on the product. I promote several products in the software category and I get a lot of form impressions and clicks but not so many sales. However, for other products I get a pretty good ratio order form submit : sales.

Also, you have to consider CB having some problems from time to time with their payment processor that affect the sales.

Those simply aren't enough stats to make any judgement.

You'd need at least 50 hits before it'd become "fishy".

Try looking for a comparable offer in a CPA network.

Yeah I understand that form impression count to form submit or sale conversion may be very low, but form submit to sale? I don't see how all 13 could entered invalid payment information.

And well if its their payment processor, then there is nothing I can do but despise CB.

Last Month's stats:

Impressions: 27

Form Submit count: 7

Sales: 6

Its more than enough for it too look fishy to me, after last month's stats.

If possible try to sale cpa offers , the conversion is so good compared to the clickbank products .In the click bank i was selling weight loss books and on and average i got 80 clicks and 1 sale where as selling acai berry products i got 40 clicks and 1 sale .so cpa offers really will make you more money ,

Yeah sorry guys, I forgot to mention. Those are vendor stats, not affiliate stats.

Never been on the vendor side of things - but I was under the impression that sh.it couldn't mess up when your on that side. The sale always goes through.

Could be wrong though.

Sometimes, I really get into doubt about clickbank tracking. I don't know if its just my doubt or real and whether they do it intentionally or there is a bug in their tracking. But I do get serious doubt sometimes specially when I am making fewer sales than before and my site traffic has increased more than it was earlier. This kind of thing does put you in doubt, doesn't it?

Your site ranking can go from 100+ to Page 1 in one month. Don't try my service or you will be hooked!

Xrumer or Scrapebox blasts cannot compare with this! This is one of the most powerful, effective and yet under-utilized link building technique for getting links from authority sites which can make Google fall madly in love with your website.

Since you're on the vendor side, is there no way for you to compare what Clickbank reported during that period against how you're fulfilling the delivery of your product? If you're doing a forced opt-in for delivery of your eBook (or some type of membership software like amember/CRM), can you run a report against that same time period?

If you are simply sending your orders to a generic thank you page, consider putting into place a way to manage the delivery so you can have checks-and-balances against CB. Something as simple as Event Tracking in Google Analytics will work.

Yes I dont do a whole lot of clickbank stuff, mostly campaigns and other traffic I set up in the past, but I am not very confident with clickbank tracking either. At the end of the day, try and look for abnormalities in trends. Make changes and adjustments based on those abnormalities.

From the seller side, how much does clickbank allow you to do your own internal tracking, if any?

Hi,

I was getting strange stats as a CB vendor for awhile. They were way 2 to 3 times what google analytics was reporting. CB looked into it and discovered some type of bot going gonzos.

It appears fixed, drop them an email.

Cheers

The short answer is "yes". Very many are wondering at the moment. But what tends to happen is that each individual is told that his own figures aren't large enough to be statistically significant. And in forums with some "Clickbank apologists" around, individual suggestions of any sort of impropriety tend to be dismissively squashed on grounds of "hysteria", "hyperbole", "unproven without video evidence" and so on.

The pro-Clickbank lobby often has the habit of casting doubt on people's findings with such tactics.

The point widely missed is that it's plausible and probably correct to question Clickbank about such matters without any allegation of impropriety at all. Apologists would love to dismiss critics as "conspiracy theorists" but actually this doesn't stand up to examination at all. Huge numbers of people (myself included) make absolutely no allegations of financial impropriety at all on the part of Clickbank. They just have major tracking problems (among other technical problems, clearly) and their idea of "customer service" is quite extraordinarily appalling, in my view, for a commercial business with their sort of turnover.
