I am new to CPA and want to apply to some CPA networks. On my application, which type of website should i put. I have my own affiliate marketing blog www.sarahstaar.com , would this be OK to get started? I have set up a new company with company bank AC. Should i build a new website for this company and use it on my application, or can i just use my sarahstaar blog. I just want to get up and running quickly. |

| I would suggest get a new website up and running, which is more of company specific. Do not forget to call them after applying; it helps you get approved faster. |

When you guys suggest a new site, do you suggest one that reflects one's marketing company, or a site that would be used specifically for cpa offers? Thanks Wayne |

I would setup a new site/blog that shows that you are going to promote their CPA offers, targeting a certain niche. But also remember when you talk to them they will normally ask how you plan to promote their offers, also if you have a blog they will usually ask how do you plan on generating traffic. You will want to tell them that you plan on sending traffic from ads and SEO.

Your site is fine, in my opinion. But if you want to sign up as a company and use a company website, that may be better. But really, I think you are fine where you are now. It's just important to get someone on the phone and just be honest. Many here seem to think there is some "trick" to getting accepted to cpa networks. In reality, there is no trick. You merely just have to be honest and let them know you have some experience. If you do not have experience, then you just have to tell them so but let them know what you are learning and the methods that you want to use.

I'm also new to cpa so instead of giving advices, I have a few questions to ask as well. thanks for the free ride. ![]() A lot of people are suggesting to build a website which relates to a very specific nichi such as a finance related website or something to do with health/weight loss before I apply for a network. but I was also told by a very experienced marketer that a bolg about internet marketing is very helpful when put in my application because it shows I have a certain level of knowlodge about this business. Which type of website is better? or they are equally good? about the age of domain and website, some suggest to build a brand new one, some suggest I should have a aged domain and website. which way should I go? |

Many say a company website centered around internet marketing is the way to go. Others get approved with websites were they are pitching to various niches. So just decide which way you want to go and try it out. | |

Sarah, Redicelander nailed it in his/her response. Your site is fine. I only list my personal blog site when I apply to a CPA network. I'm in the big well-known ones. They will call you and they just want to know that you are a decent person worth their effort and expense to let you in. They ask the usual questions about how you plan to promote, how much you spend each month on advertising, what you promote, etc.... Just read thru the threads in this sub-forum about how to apply (there are several) and you will get into most. It's not as difficult as many will have you believe. Regards, John |

If you do not have a website already, in the form where it asks you for your website url, you can put that you build sites depending on the offer, this is what I did with the first network that I applied to and I was accepted. It would also help to give them a call too. Sean |

I point them to my blog...but I noticed that they almost feel relieved when you tell them you will be making LPs and mini-sites depending on the offer.

I put different things depending on what I think they're looking for: http://DependsOnOffer.com http://NotYetBuilt.com I've never had an issue so far. |
