Signed up for Azoogle and Copeac networks the other day. Got a few missed calls from them so I'll probably give them a ring in a bit. What can I expect them to verify from me so that I can prepare for their questions before my application gets approved?

Generally for one thing. You'll definitely want to tell them that you use PPC, and have been for quite some time. CPA networks like to know that they are dealing with a very experienced affiliate marketer. If you are a member of some other CPA networks, you may want to let them know that to. They will favor people who KNOW HOW to make sales, and generally don't give much of a hoot about a new marketer. At times, people may have to tell a little white lie when starting to get accepted, but, it will get your foot in the door. Cheers Davin |

Copeac just asked me how I was going to promote their offers and If I had experience. I told them that I had experience as an affiliate but that I had never promoted any CPA offer...

They will ask how you plan to promote their traffic, if affiliate marketing is your full-time job, etc. Just be honest but you do not have to give details on your secrets. Just give general answers such as paid traffic, PPC, etc.

Its just their standard procedre. They have to talk to everyone on the phone first. I found them really nice to deal with! Can't say I have used their network as much as I would like to though.

I guess that counts as a turn down. The best bet is to tinker with clickbank some, since they don't ask any questions to sign up. Use your experience with them to explain to the new CPA network what you've done, and most likely you'll get in. | |

| Azoogle asked me a ton of questions, Copeac hardly any. In any case, just be honest. What's the worse that could happen, you get denied. You can always go somewhere, get some experience under your belt, and re-apply later.

Don't exaggerate, you don't have to lie in order to get accepted. Just show that you have some experience and know what you are talking about (they don't like newbies ).I just said that I worked with PPC, gave them some details about my campaigns and was accepted for all the major networks. |

I just got approved by Copeac and Azoogle today. I was honest to the AM that I'm new to the CPA game but told them my background is in web design...they both approved me I think based on the nature of my background...the Copeac rep said that because I have an experience in web design, I do know what will convert, etc. I think that being honest is important but showing them a little of what you've learned so far in warrior forum does help. |

yes you should most deff. tell them that you plan to promote thier offers via PPC, and that you have been using ppc for some time now and you can generate a good amount of leads per day.

Networks will almost always call you to verify that you are for real. They will ask questions like "How will you promote our offers?" which is just asking what your traffic source is. PPC is a good answer because it's easy to get into. Then they will ask you what other networks you are working with... which is kind of a joke because it's easy to get into a lot of pretty good networks (I'm in more than 15 right now) after you have been around for a while. They mostly want to test that you are for real and are not just starting. Sometimes they will use fancy language like asking you "What verticals are you currently in?" that just means which niche ... so they want to hear you know the local vernacular... so you can echo back some industry terms to them like "bizopp" which basically means the IM niche. Some of them only want to work with people who will provide lots of traffic. It is kind of a bitch to be with a lot of networks because all of them want your traffic, and they all want you to be running campaigns on their network. So that is why in the beginning it is better to stick only with a couple networks, because even if you generate only 1 lead a month they will still keep your acct active and most likely will try to court favor with you. Best advice I can give with getting accepted to networks is to know the industry inside and out. There's about 4-5 standard questions that networks ask when they are screening you. Once you learn to answer those 5 questions you are in 95% of networks. |

Yeah just be real and dont start throwing out huge numbers because thats what sets off the red flags. If you say you are doing insane traffic but dont know the answers to their simple questions then dont expect to get accepted. Be real, give them your stats, yes you can inflate a tiny bit as most people do and they im sure expect it, but there is no real need to trick your way into getting accepted unless you are doing sketchy stuff. |

Good point Ian. Although I've never got a commission hike on the initial interview, almost every AM will raise rates if you spend time chatting with him/her and more importantly, they begin to trust you. Its amazing how much flexibility they have and how this flexibility can bring red campaigns into the black. kenster |
