Warriors... Newbie CPA marketers like myself are working to develop a systematic approach to promoting offers...e.g. find a need, find a CPA offer that meets the need, develop keywords, build a LP, etc... Because we have yet to build a list, we must rely on paid or free traffic methods...in regard to paid, what has proven to be the most effective for you pros out there...Google Content network? Banner Ads on various Ad networks? Text? Display? Incidentally, the offer I'm testing is in the "weight loss" category.. Thanks for any and all enlightenment... |

I personally like testing with PPC because you get very fast results, but just be advised that ppc testing can be expensive. Also keep in mind that different traffic converts differently, sometimes very differently, so keep this in mind if you are testing and optimizing using ppc but plan on using another traffic source in the end |

| PPC for a quick "gut check" on the offer's viability does make sense. So once you see an offer converting, you quickly scale it up and move to ad networks, etc?

Another vote for PPC but specifically, google "Search" network. I can have an ad up nad "live"in a matter of minutes and be provided with the necessary data to know if it is a winner or loser. Regards, John |

To those that test with PPC, do you just direct link to the offer? If so, doesn't your QS usually get slammed?

| You absolutely can, unless something has changed very recently. But if you do it without giving good answers you are sure to run in to problems and have your Yahoo Answers account banned.
