Anyone know a rough average on the returns in CPA eg spend $100 in adwords, get $150 in revenue? Or, would you like to share your margins ? |

I think it really depends on the offer... really hard to say

Okay, to get a bit more into details: I'm promoting credit cards via AdWords (non US market) and it depends on the keywords. With some kws I get usually 25-30 % profit (=125-130 % revenue) and with others there are only 8 %. By rule of thumb I would say that everything over 10 % profit is fair (as long as you can scale it up!). |

Yes there definitely isnt an average return on cpa offers. I wont mind losing a little on email submits if I can get a lot of volume and scale up on the back end. If I'm in a small niche that is hard to scale up, then its not worth my time to do anything under 50% return. At the end of the day, worry more about profit than return. People seem to be so stuck on return sometimes that they forget the goal, which is putting dough in your pocket. If you are getting a crappy return but have the volume, you can make a real lot of money, much more money than having an awesome return but not being able to generate the traffic. best of luck |

Thanks for the kind words guys. Yes I actually learned a ton from this forum and without it, I will admit that I may have bailed out of IM when I was a struggling newbie trying to find my way in IM. Thank god I didnt. This is a great place! kenster | |||

It depends on the offer, the market, the keywords, the landing page, your ad copy, etc, etc As mentioned above, there is no average return IMHO |
