How much does it cost to make your own CPA offer as an advertiser? I have my own website and products and am considering crafting a CPA offer. It would be for people to put in their email and mailing address to get a free booklet. How much money would the CPA networks want me to put upfront for something like that?

Based on the research I've done, it costs between $25K-$50K because the CPA networks will take most of the risk in paying the affiliates upfront.

Yes and then there's going to be the costs on your end. Be sure you do your own testing and optimizing so when game time comes and you start getting traffic from the networks, you have decent margins or else it can be detrimental if you start getting insane traffic that isnt converting on your end. good luck |

They run credit checks on your business so if you have good business credit references you will define the monthly budget yourself. It sounds like this is your first go at it so since you won't have any credit references you will need to prepay or give a deposit depending on the network (minimum of $5k)

Thanks, for the answers. What I am thinking of doing is simply doing a lead campaign - sending people to an opt-in page about stock trading for mailing and email address. Paying $1.50 or so a lead. Do you think something like that would be attractive for cpa marketers?

I mean I'm not terribly familiar with that niche as it relates to cpa, but initial thought is that it may be tough because multi field offers like that usually have a higher street payout. There are some email submits that pay high than that and thats just for email address, not email and mailing address.

It depends. Over here you can start a month test with $500 upfront + some small amount. Guess BIG companies will ask more than that. It's just the nature of business: if you want to play with big guys, be ready to pay more. |
