Hello there, My name is Michael Hastings and always wanted to be an entrepreneur and live life without worries. I don't know if this is the right forum to start this thread for I am new to the site. I am working 50 hours a week doing what I love to do best, working on cars. But I want to work on cars while making money from home, spend time with family and friends. Anyway, I'm ready to make this full time, I need some advise or opinions on how and where I should start. I decided to go with selling traffic hits, and try clickbank. Do you guys have any suggestions or an links or info I can read to help better myself and get me started? Also I have been reading around this site and noticed CPA's, adsense, ad networks, etc. Just a bunch of new terms to me. Can someone direct me to a link that explains all these? Thanks so much. I have a friend that is selling traffic and he is doing good but he told me he got all his motivation and info from warriorforum, and I just want to be a part of that and hopefully be my own boss someday. |

| CPA CPA stands for Cost per Action. Generally speaking publishers that own trafficed web sites are paid by the advertiser when a visitor performs a specific action. These actions can vary, but usually include either viewing a site, filling out a form to join a newsletter or to receive information which is sometimes referred to generating leads or list building and/or buying a product. It should be noted that the advertiser will usually state which type of action he will pay for and may include payment for only one type of action or will vary payments for several types of actions that are completed. Internet Marketing Its basically when you find a product most of the time using clickbank and make a site and write articles to promote that product. You are provided with an affiliate link so that every time someone buys the product from your site or article you will get paid commission. Article marketing You write high quality articles and offer your service to people. Many are willing to hire you even on here if you have good writing skills. Flipping Websites Making money flipping website is a lot like making money on flipping houses. There are three general ways on how to earn money from flipping website. Buy a website, renovate or reconstruct, then sell it in a more profitable amount. It like buying a old house, renovating it and selling it in a much higher price. Ghostwriting A ghostwriter is a professional writer who is paid to write books, articles, stories, reports, or other texts that are officially credited to another person. Adsense sites Google's AdSense is a superb revenue generating opportunity for small, medium and large web sites. AdSense allows you to serve text-based Google AdWords on your web site and receive a share of the pay-per-click payment. AdSense ads are similar to the AdWords ads you see on the right-hand side at Google when you do a search there. AdSense is having a huge impact on the affiliate marketing industry. It's often much easier to generate revenue from AdSense than from an affiliate program. AdSense is simple to join. It's easy to paste a bit of code into your pages. It's free to join. You don't have to spend time finding advertisers. Google provides well written, highly relevant ads - chosen to closely match the content on your pages. You don't have to waste time choosing different ads for different pages. You don't have to mess around with different code for various affiliate programs. You're free to concentrate on providing good content and Google does the work of finding the best ads for your pages from 100,000 AdWords advertisers. It's suitable for beginners or marketing veterans. If you own a small web site you can plug a bit of AdSense code into your site and almost instantly relevant text ads that are likely to appeal to your visitors will appear on your pages. If you own several sites, you need apply only once. This makes AdSense much simpler than joining a bunch of affiliate programs. Moe |

Hi, Michael, welcome to WF! You've come to one of the best places to get information. However, not all the advice given here is 100% correct, so corroborate what you learn. I would just keep reading all the threads that interest you. You might want to spring for the $37 War Room membership, as there is a wealth of information in that forum that will help you achieve your goal of BYOB. Here's a thread with a list of threads that will answer a lot of your questions: Top ten threads - Pure Warrior Forum Gold Hope this helps! |

Just getting started is the tough part. I have another question, I noticed that under users avatar they have "thanked"? How do you thank a person? Thanks

You may not see the Thanks option until you have a certain number of posts, though.

True Laura I don't really remember it been a while. Also Michael Adesnse wouldn't earn huge amounts of money I think unless you have a real large number of traffic coming to your site. I think if you start with affiliate marketing you can easily branch out anywhere. I just looked at Laura's signiture and here WSO looks really good. You might wanna check it out. Moe |

Just a few things to add WSO is short for Warrior Special Forum. One of my best advise is to focus on one thing and DON'T spend all your paycheck on WSOs because it becomes an addiction once you buy them. I'm not saying don't buy Laura's WSO just buy it and put everything in to action. Don't read and read and buy more ebooks. Buy and put everything you learn to work. The thing about the Warrior Forum is you don't have to put 50 hours a week. You just need a few hours of real work. Once you build the base you will start making money and you can run your business on autopilot. It gives you the pleasure of enjoying life and doing what you wanna do. If you have any questions just ask the warriors and they'll be more than happy to help. You can start with a free method by using blogger or hunpages some web 2.0 sites and sign up to clickbank, pick a product and start promoting it. I would suggest you to buy a domain and hosting but after you have something planned. Moe |

Thanks for mentioning my course, MR.MOE. I agree, whatever you buy, if anything, Michael, commit to it and follow through. Follow-through will probably figure more largely in your eventual success than which particular program you do. If you have other questions, please ask away! |

Hi Micheal, If your starting out, I think a great way to get started is to set up some direct linking campaigns. Sign up with Yahoo, Msn, Adbrite, for doing PPC, and join a few cpa networks - like neverblue, hydra, azoogle, or find some clickbank products, this will give you a feel for directing traffic to offers. For eg. get on a cpa offer for acai for diet, write some adcopy for a yahoo ad, watch what happens, you can set it up to only pay a dollar a day in ads and get your clicks for about 0.10, set up heaps of different types of offers and see which ones firstly get traffic and secondly convert, the conversion rate will be low, though but you will have experience, also the best advice is take a break from it!! you can and will burn out, just relax and everything will happen in time, |

HI Michael, I would recommend using your knowledge of auto repair as a place to start. The best way to make money is to do something you are interested in and have inside knowledge. You might start a blog. Write short articles about various things you do everyday. There has to be some secrets that you would like to share. A blog for women about easy repairs or diagnosing common problems so they don't get ripped off when they visit a mechanic would be a natural. From there you could find some CPA offers, maybe insurance or auto loans etc. or even a car repair ebook from clickbank.com that you could link from your blog. Or you could set up a small website that have some CPA offers, still write your articles putting links back to your website from the articles and upload the articles to the article directory sites. This will create backlinks to get your websites rated higher in the search engines. All of this is going to be very frustrating in the beginning but its worth the efforts. Budget 2 hours a night to this and you wont recognize yourself by the end of the month. Good Luck! |

There are a lot of CPA and affiliate offers available that you can definitely combine with your interest in cars. There is a lot of great information available on this forum both free and at very reasonable prices. Spend some time reading and learning about some of the options that are available and then choose one area and take action. Set a time limit for when you will start taking action. While learning is crucial, too many people get so caught up in the learning phase and never take action. You don't want to get started from a point of total cluelessness, but the best learning comes from taking action. The faster you choose one course of action and make even a modest amount of money, the better off you will be. Good luck and welcome! Robyn |

Hey Michael, I've been flipping websites for a several months now and it makes me pretty good money on top of affiliate marketing. It's really easy to start and doesn't take much time. It's a really good place to start in IM. Wish I knew more about it when I started, but better late than never! |
