Default More novice questions

So far I have a website that promotes traffic hits to your website, and I have blog about automotive repair in process. My question is how can I promote my website to the right viewers?, preferred without having to pay for advertising. And another question I have is, Where can I find cpa's for automotive parts? I checked clickbank and they hardly have anything.

How does point per click work? You get a certain amount of money when someone clicks into your website? Also can you do a combo of ppc on a link and CPA at the same link?

Sorry for confusion but I feel like I am almost getting the gist of this.

Also when I am finised with my blog how can I go about promoting it and getting up the ranks on a good search engine?

Thanks

Michael Hastings

I've never heard of point per click, but I have heard of pay per click. This is where you get paid per click, pretty obvious, I know.

Find other blogs about cars and comment on their posts to get the right audience coming back to your blog.

You might have to join as an individual affiliate for various car sites. Then promote those affiliate links. I know Commission Junction has a whole lot of advertisers to choose from.

For SEO, make sure your blog/site has a sitemap and that it is submitted to the major search engines, Google, Yahoo, and Bing using webmaster tools.

To get indexed well, use unique content, good descriptive titles for your blog posts or pages, and linking keywords properly and you should do fine.

Oh right pay per click. I understand the concept but can it be done with a combo of PPC and CPA? If so how can I set that up?

What does SEO stand for and webmaster tool is used to prmote my site on search engine correct?

Thanks for the help. Mike

seo stand for search engine optimization.

it means you try to build your sites so that search engines like them.

you can look up it's meaning on wikipedia if you want to.

it's a difficult science. doing your own seo is usually counter-productive if you don't really know what you're doing.

i hate to rain on your parade, but unless you're an seo pro, you probaby would be better off not trying to do your own site seo.

hope that helps some.

Yes SEO is search engine optimization and is the process of making your website rank well on the search engines for specific keywords. It is a lot of work but the long run payout is good and the best part is that the traffic is FREE. Unlike PPC or Media Buying, you dont need to spend a dime to get traffic if you rank well on the search engines.

best of luck

Ok I understand. Really, I'm just looking for a way to get my blog noticed. It's on automotive repair and maintanance. To help regular people who don't want to take their car to the shop and save money with simple care of their car and common problems that can easily be fixed without taking it the shop. What's the route I should go when promoting my site? Other than going onto forums?I plan on doing that already. Also has anyone used blogger? I'm not sure they will allow HTML links from clickbank. Thanks for all the help guys!
