Default I'm Going to Get My Feet Wet!

Okay I have been reading for more than two weeks now (or so)...been getting lots and lots of headache from the numerous readings I've done so far...and decided it's time to implement...

Here is what I have done so far:
1. Read Warrior Forum and another CPA/PPC forum. (Thanks to lots and lots of great contributors to this forum.)

2. Signed up with about with about 10 CPA Networks (which I realized may not be a good idea). For newbies, I realized that signing up with 2 or 3 CPA networks is good. AMs tend to pressure you a bit if you sign up and they don't see any activity in a week or so...(hello?)

3. I finally picked two offers to test and see its profitability (I know Ken advised to just pick one but I decided to pick at least 2 for testing purposes).

4. I picked PPC as my traffic source. And by this I mean, Google, Yahoo search, AdBrite, bidvertiser, and possibly Facebook.

5. I set up my tracking 202 so far.

6. Got domain for my offers. I dont plan on building a landing page for it since the advertiser already has a good landing page and I don't necessarily need to presell. I plan on using this domain for redirect **STILL NOT SURE IF THIS WILL WORK IN CLOAKING MY REFERRER**

7. I researched my keywords using Google External Keyword tool.

8. Set up my ad campaign on an Excel Spreadsheet for now then will upload it on the PPC sites.

My questions are:
1. Does my AM provide me with my affiliate link?
2. Once she gives me my affiliate link, I input that into tracking 202. Then provide her with the pixel?
3. Then I'm good to go?

Thank you for the clarifications! I am ready to make this live tomorrow!

I still have not used tracking pixels but just want to say good luck and can't wait to see the great responses to your question. Better than this response, at least!

Edit: Oh, and picking two offers to test is a good idea, in my opinion. Then after you test for a while, if you are getting enough traffic to test, really, you can see which works best and go with that. Just do it, man, just do it.

[QUOTE=Bujoi23;1443916]Okay I have been reading for more than two weeks now (or so)...been getting lots and lots of headache from the numerous readings I've done so far...and decided it's time to implement...

Not sure if you meant me when you said Ken, but if so, then you misunderstood. My thread was about picking one method, not one offer. It is important to pick one method and stick with it for long enough to see if it is right for you or not. Too many bail out too early and never get anything accomplished becaue they jump around too much.

You should be testing many offers. Some offers are garbage and some are great. Its very hard, even for experienced marketers to know which offers will be winners. Speaking to your AM can help significantly in this respect. So yes, try multiple offers!

4. I picked PPC as my traffic source. And by this I mean, Google, Yahoo search, AdBrite, bidvertiser, and possibly Facebook.

Download adwords editor if you havent. Its a phenomenal tool to expedite large campaign building, modifying, and optimizing.

As for your link, it all depends what affiliate network you use. Generally it will be listed somewhere by the offer unless you have to apply to run the offer. Then press apply and wait for a response. If you see banner ads, look after where it says a href.

Set up the tracking using T202 or P202 the difference is just who hosts, then build ads and start running.

I would be careful not usign a landing page. Even if the landing page offered is already good, direct linking days are long gone. It will be tough to get a good quality score.

let us know how you do

kenster's dead on about the landing page. However, if you use CPV networks like Media traffic then you do not need a landing page, necessarily.
