Hello everyone, Today I got started with my first PPC campaign on Facebook with an offer targeted to the UK audience. I generated 102 clicks across 4 different ads that I'm split testing. With these 102 clicks I didn't have any conversions. I wanted to see what it looked like when you imported the subID's from the affiliate network into Tracking 202 since I had never done this before. So I went ahead and took the subID's and updated them into Tracking 202. Oddly enough when I hit the refresh button to see the data I had generated from today, it said that I had made over $180 from my campaign which is totally false. I'm quite curious why tracking 202 would say that I generated leads when there is no data to support that what-so-ever. I went ahead and made a post on the Prosper 202 forum, but those guys never respond to threads, so I thought I'd post here and see what other people with experience with Tracking 202 think. Anyone? EDIT: I've also got one other question related to Pixels. I'm promoting an offer that just requires the user to download something, do I need to have my affiliate manage place a pixel on the advertisers success page? |

Maybe your using it wrong?? Prosper202 creates its own sub-ids. Thats why you format your affiliate link in the way you do. When something converts... you feed those sub-ids back into Prosper to complete the tracking loop. Since it created those sub-ids, it knows which ad, which traffic source, etc... If you had 102 clicks... and no conversions... you shouldn't have fed it back any sub-ids. Maybe you fed it the sub-ids that were just clicks. You only feed it sub-ids that converted. |
