I can hardly believe it!! Using Market Samauri I found a great two word keyword phrase that i'm itching to use. The .com for it is taken so what is the next best extension?? .net? .org?? Or should I try for hyphens between the words? I thought Google hated those though?? Also wondering how to monetize it... I know, you can't tell me that without knowing the niche it is though - and i am not telling |

Write some articles, do your backlinking work in one day, see if that's enough after a week, and get going. You can monetize it with cpa offers, since you're in the cpa forum here check out the cpa networks you are a part of and see if there are any offers that seem to apply to those niches! Good luck. And, if you are not part of any cpa networks, go and try to get accepted to 5 solid networks right away! |

OKay I just found another one with almost 900 searches per day and 14000 competing sites!! (and I'm verifying this with a "google" search for competition and Google's keyword tool for approx daily searches). But again, the .com is taken. Should I go for .org? Are there any rules that say i have to be an organization? I'm an amazon affiliate but these products aren't expensive so my payout won't be high. So I'm wondering if Adsense ads might work better as there are a lot of ads on the right of the Google searches so payout might be good... And with that many searches per day... Thoughts? |

I'd write a couple of articles and put one on ezine articles and one on arcticle base. If they're easy to rank for as you hope then your articles should get listed in google quickly and have pretty high rankings. I've not used Market Samurai but I've seen tools give incorrect data before or people misread/misinterpret the data. I hope you've found a couple of gems but posting in a couple of article directories will give you a good indication if the data is correct. You can always edit the author box to point to your .org url later if you buy one.

You should always check your keywords in exact match. The default with both google adwords kw tool and market samurai is broad. The exact search may have as little as 50 searches a day. |

Monetizing your site largely depends on what niche you're in. If you can find some good CPA offers on any networks you're associated with then you can do that. If it's content that hard to find you could put a CPA gateway on it from CPALead or another similar site.

In my personal experience google adwords kw tool data isn't accurate for some terms. Not even close. One of my websites receives around 1000/m UV's for one long tail keyword. Google adwords kw tool says "Not enough data". I'm #4 on page #1. I have 10+ these keywords for this site only... Other than that, have you checked upon your competition? |

I've used .org in the past and I've gotten incredible rankings for it. There have been times when I bought the .com and the .org extensions and my .org have appeared on the first page while my .com which was a clone of the .org couldn't be found. I'm a real believer in .orgs. The .com extension is great for looks becuase that's what people are use to seeing. For good quick indexing and ranking the .org has been incredible

The best way to see how many searches are being done is to throw up a google adword ad and see how many impressions it gets before doing any type of SEO. ( make sure you set your campaign according to exact match for what ever keyword your targeting) You DO NOT have to buy a domain name either when testing for impressions, you can use free sites like Weebly.com, Yola.com or Webs.com. |

first off, exact matching using google is a nice indicator, but the truth is that a lot of business if generated under phrase matching. now ask yourself what's the general to phrase ratio if you get a ratio of 4 to 1 or better it's a keeper phrase IE 4 general to 1 phrase. second step is to find the related keywords to your phrase, can you at least find 3 more, if you can then you have a high probability of creating a very high ranking site with pleanty of traffic. third, everything proving true above, then create a site with the focus phrase as the main page, the 3 other phrases as there own pages with links and keywords pointing back to the main phrase. now you have a basic 4 page site with 4 keywords, each page is about 500 words a piece, with proper seo'ed pages and keyword text linking back to the focus phrase page. add to it a TOS page, FAQ, Privacy policy, contact us page and you are done. what you have is a nice and simple foundation that will serve you well. I hope that this little bit helps you and gives you a smile
