Which one converts better? The two are very different. A sales page is usually very very long with little graphics. On the other hand CPA landers are very short but is well designed. If we put up a weight loss ebook page against an acai lander, which one would convert better? |

that's something you would have to test as it varies on the offer. I saw an offer being ran for like 3 months and if that offer was still being promoted for that long in the same website network then that tells me that their sequence is converting great! So I clicked on the ad and went through the whole process so I could study it. This was their formula= Creative + PreSell Page (blog) + CPA Offer Page= Sale For this particular product it converted well with a PreSell page which you can use a blog (not a flog) or video to entice your visitors more to increase conversions. And thier PreSell wan't long at all. So it really comes down to testing.... |

It does depend on testing but what about targeted to general traffic?

The reason is because you are giving your user valuable information. This is how it goes...Weight loss blog with a dozen or articles. Each article has a few embedded links to 'weight loss CPA offers'. Along the sidebar and top of blog are also ad banners for CPA offers that would match the demographic of your visitor. Think about if you were to walk into a store and right away someone came up to and said "here buy this NOW!" Chances are you wouldn't like it. You would want to have time to look around and make you own choice. That would be the landing page approach while the blog approach is more subtle and relaxing to the user. They can look around, read and make their own decision. It really does work.

If you can stay in the same presell mode you will be fine. Just like Tahiti Joe said, they don't like to be slammed, but they LOVE being persuaded ![]() If you break this chain, and if you are marketing with articles, keeping the same mode is something that will help your conversions. |
