I really want to try and make videos to market affiliate products on Youtube, as I'm sure most of you are and do well. I, however, have no video editing software nor do I know how to do it. I saw a video like this: youtube.com/watch?v=RjfdnMOa6Z8 and it made me realize that this is what I can do to maximize efficiency. If anyone has any recommendations on how to get started to make quality videos like that, please let me know! I'm a newb but I'm not camera shy and wouldn't mind narrating a few products. Thanks in advance for any help! |

Do you think that some one have finished his watching of this LAME video? I just can't believe in this. However, if you need cool screencasting software, then go for Camstasia.

I recommend CamStudio (it's free) if your budget is tight, or Jing (free for the up-to-5 minutes) version. Don't expect your first video to be perfect, the more you practice at it the better you'll get!

Yeah, that's what I was wondering. So many views on such a simple thing that I could do twice if not three times as good? Sure thing! And thanks for the replies, definitely checking those out. If anyone has any other recommendations please let me know! |

I agree with Paulie. If your on a budget cam studio works just as well as camtasia. I have both but still use cam studio for its simplicity. If you need a copy of cam studio shoot me a pm and i will be more than happy to send you a copy. Craig | |

I believe Windows Movie Maker works as well, (i've never used it) but I heard it's ok with Windows. Camtasia offers a 30 day free trial for you to use. If you really want Camtasia you can get the serial code to get the whole program for Free-> just look on Youtube. |

If you want to do screen capture type videos go for Camstudio or the free trial of Camtasia. If you want to try something a little more fancy try Animoto, that's also free to use. Gurpreet |

Camtasia is good but another program that I use is from the publisher of camtasia and that's "Snagit" Snagit works pretty much like camtasia but has additional features. It will allow you to capture screen shots. Now let me give you a run down on how to produce you videos. First use a program like Word or the free open office version. On each page just create key points regarding your topic. Take all your pages listing key points and create a power point presentation. Once you have your power point presentation set up you will run it as a slide show and start your capture with snagit or camtasia. As each one of your slides are presented you're explaining each slide in greater detail hopefully in a flowing manner. Make sure you put the video title and URL below the title as your first slide. The last slide should be a call to action and your URL address again You can invest in a cheap headset microphone for as little as $10. I got a really nice one and it cost $50 but a great investment. Once you have created your video just upload it to youtube, google video, msn video and the many other video sites. This is a quick and easy way to get tons of traffic. If all that is too much work for you then you can try a free trial of Article Robot which basically takes your article and creates a video for you. It's a quick an easy way to create content videos. One thing I don't care for is that the voice sounds computerized. |
