OK doing some snooping around trying some image advertising got a few hundred clicks out of about 100 billion (kidding but close) impressions. Not one single order form hop on a good converting offer... I small a rat. Snooped around a bit and found I'm not the only one. Anyone have a good source for image ad traffic? I have lots of ads waiting for approval on Google content but at this rate I'll be dead for centuries before they get around to reviewing them. |

don't waste your time with adbrite, most of their sites have foreign traffic that does not convert plus there is a lot of click fraud on adbrite also.

I tried adbrite recently too and the results were pretty poor on a page that normally converts very well. I paused the campaign and don't intend to start it up again.

The reason Google takes so long is because the DO give a shi%t. Otherwise they would accept everyone quicker and produce the same crappy results as the others. |

Almost all small search sites are not really worth the waste of time. The reason that Google can charge as much as they do is because they are effective. MSN and Yahoo are the only other company I choose. if I'm trying to give something away that really hot to build a mailing list then I'll go with the smaller companys like looksmart or 7search. For the most part small search engines just suck your money up. If you're using image ads then you may want to consider Google's content network for better results

Adbrite is useless. If you are using them you should just go for more reputable cpv companies.

I also belong to the ex-adbrite user club. I can't say the conversions were bad because there weren't any. |

I am using Adbrite for my banner ads and am getting the same useless response too. Has anyone tried "buysellads" with any success?

You guys that are saying that adbrite sucks, clearly don't know how to use it. Did you check the websites that your ads were being advertised on? Don't tell me that you promoted an IM product with adbrite? Many IM sites use adsense for their websites, not adbrite. So you can forget about using adbrite to advertise your IM product. I tried that once, and it was a total disaster... why? because there weren' any decent websites in the IM niche that use adbrite. My ad ended up being shown in websites in the 'hack' niche, and stuff like that, lol. You have to select the correct websites in order to make money with adbrite. Whenever you start a campaign with adbrite, make sure that you check the satistics immediately to see which sites your ad is being shown on. You'll notice that the ad will start being shown on several webstes that are not in the same niche. Just block the 'bad' websites and accept the 'good' ones. Cheers |
