Can anyone give me a good indicator what kind of CTR I should be expecting with buying adspace?

That's a pretty big question to answer. It depends on many factors such as: Vertical Ad format Ad copy Ad location Website quality Number of other ads Website traffic For example, social websites and online games often get very low clickthroughs (the users are busy and aren't very interested in ads). As a very, very general guideline, I would expect well under 1% CTR in most cases. I might start with a guesstimate of 0.10 to 0.25%. Hope this helps a little. |

SUCH a broad question to answer but with some optimisation I can normally get up to 0.5% -ish even with pretty non-targetted traffic. Just got to be really creative with the banner and try loads of designs to see what works. Andy |
