Copeac help?? Do you have to deploy a creative or is that just to track?

hey there

i am running a smiley campaign with copeac and i have been getting 1000 visitors a day for the past 8 days, using msn adcentre, since this is targeted traffic, i just find it hard to believe that not one person has downloaded the smiley toolbar.

it is $2.10 a lead, and so far for this campaign im going towards a loss.

it is meant to be real time tracking and it shows $0.00.

did i make a mistake in not deploying the creative first and just cutting and pasting the affiliate link into my banners and ads? my affiliate manager checked and said the links were fine but i am just after some other opinions.

I'm having a similar experience with a different CPA company, so I'm curious to know the answer (I'm a newb to CPA). It's hard to believe out of all the clicks, nobody entered their zip...

The thing is, without being funny, I was in college and people were talking and I said you should download some 3D smiley's with sound they are cool.

And I said I know a good site where you can get them from and gave them my site and I literally saw them download the toolbar and use in on MSN Messenger.

But I didn't get any commissions for it. The affiliate links look OK because they all have my ID on the end, so technically I should get the commission if they went through my link...

Kinda makes you want to say, "Hmmm." What's up with that? Of course you should be paid for it.

I just joined Copeac. Hate to hear this kind of thing right from the start.

Copeac is meant to be a top network and all the managers are cool aswell, but google analytics says, i got a ton of traffic from the USA and the average user was on the site for 4mins and 23 seconds, so I was thinking they obviously had a nice look around, maybe just maybe one of those people downloaded the toolbar...surely...

Call your affiliate manager! If you have over 1000 targetted visitors and not one conversion, there is a problem! Copeac is a great network and whenever I run into issues with them I just call and get it worked out.

I always have trouble getting people to fill out either zip submits or e-mail submits. I've had sites get hundreds of visitors a day and no one ever fills out the forms even when it's just one field.

I suppose that somebody must be doing well with one field offers, since there are a zillion ebooks about how to make fortunes doing so, but I can't ever get anyone to bite.

I've had much better luck promoting trial offer products.

do you know when you actually get the conversion?? i thought the user had to download and install it and thats it. you get the conversion, i am 99% sure thats all that is required to get it.
