Default CPA, is it really that simple? Just sign up?

I run through a number of CPA offers in primaryads network and I got interested with a couple of offers there.

But I thought it's a little too simple, I read this in one of the site offering loans: "... we pay you $18 for every application completed, whether funded or not"

The form is just simply name, email and cell phone.

Is it really that simple? Just get people to sign up and I get paid $18???

If so, that is REALLY EASY MONEY...

Simple? Have you tried competing in the loans industry lately? It's not the offer that's the hard part, it's getting targeted people to it. PPC is the obvious first base, until you see how much you're going to have to pay per click!

I guess this just goes to show how important it is to think outside the box with CPA and go where no-one else will think of.

Well, I don't need to apply loan so I'm not very sure about this.

My feeling is that it's too simple to earn $18 straight. Won't they check to see if the sign ups is legitimate before paying the affiliate?

Or they have too much cash to pay the affiliates for a single lead?

BTW, getting targeted people to fill in the form is easy job for me, I just want to know if its really that simple before I jump in to try out with different campaigns...

Beware of PrimaryAds.

My friend who was an affiliate of theirs told me they scrub like crazy.

To scrub in the CPA industry means to be short-changed.

So for every 100 leads you send them, you may be credited for just 20 of them.

A) See how well you do purchasing traffic for loans.

B) I've yet to see an email submit pay $18 which means , most likely they will want a verification via the cell number before you are approved.

CPA is a money maker but it's not as easy as people think unless you have a clue what your doing.

People crash and burn badly with CPA, on the other hand some make huge money, don't believe for a second you can just wang any old traffic at a $18 per lead program and make money.

I agree with you that $18 is really "big money" but, I have made over $1000 in one day based on $2 email submits, so it really doesn't really matter how much the payout is as long as you can send good, cheap traffic to the offer.

Yes it is just that simple! In fact I signed up a few days ago and my account already read...Thanks Kyle for signing up, one of the new legislative policies just passed by Bush gives all new publishers $194,397, enjoy!

Ok enough kidding around, but if you can drive traffic to the offers and they convert, you get paid. Sounds simple enough right

Question - how much "Pre selling" of this offer have you found you need to do? Any sense so far of how well it converts? What is the offer itself for?

Where as if you're getting the higher PPS on an individual sale, provided the conversion rate is good (admittedly it's not on something with a high payout, that's why it has a high payout... but that just means you need to make a better lander for it) you can do just as well, if not better, on less effort.
That's hte point I'm trying to get across anyway.
Hi Harvey
I had never made more than $30 cumulatively after joing CPA for a few months.
I did not intend to do PPC as i have no budget for that.
I am (and think some of us here) really interested with how you made the money. It indeed seems alot to me (to my current stage)

the offer is a email fill-up.
That means you will be paid $2 when someone enters their email address

Here's a tip for you guys. Build a landing page based on a poll.

A simple content page with a header, leading up to a poll question...

For example, Do you think Jessica Simpson is dateable? Then have a Yes or No below...When they choose their answer have it redirect to a CPA offer, preferably one giving the user something in return for answering your poll question..Like a $250 gift card, etc.,,Try and have the CPA offer relate to your poll question if possible. Now you still need to get traffic to your landing page...I'll let you figure that out for yourself

I could package some stuff and do a WSO, but I figure I just provide some ideas here in the forum for you to use.

Also, you could do these poll questions for just about anything...Politics, New Movie Releases, New Games, etc.

HI appreciate alot Kyle,
I did 2 poll sites before
i might think that i lack of marketing skills, either i chose a hot trend that subsided quickly or the design of the page or targeted wrong traffics?
