Ok here is how I did it.. Pretty freaking easy honestly.. I found a product on click bank that ranged from 100-150 grav... Direct linked to it through adwords... set my bid at .35.... after 54 clicks bam sale..

You linked to the hop link in adwords or did you purchase a domain name and re-directed to the site?

That's cool!

Lot of people hate Clickbank but there is some good stuff on it. And it sounds like you found the money niche on CB (gaming)!

I know you don't have your own website but if you like the niche go ahead and setup something. You can grab people's email addresses and build things up organically too that way.

Yeah, that first sale gives you a huge motivational boost knowing that this IS real. Sometimes you hear the numbers and hear people making money but until you make that first sale it seems not necessarily that it isn't real, but that it isn't achievable to make money online.

As stated online, the hardest is that first sale....congrats

Yes, that can be extremely good. Many users who see this will immediately leave because they want free information. That is fine for you because now you dont have to pay for their click.

This is especially important for high ticket products in highly competitive niches. If you are paying a dollar or more for a click, you want to be extremely confident the visitor is motivated to give your offer a shot. Putting the price right in the ad may reduce visitors but increase conversion!

Here is an update... yesterday went really well... I spent around 25 but revenue was 52 so around a 25 dollar profit.. not bad... I got extremely drunk last night and payed no attention to my businesses online lol

Nice dude, I hope you are trackign your keywords. Take the winning keywords you have and find similar keywords...expand horizontally, find synonyms etc. Start trying to scale buddy. Going out on Fridays nights are fine...I did it too, but spend the next few days trying to ramp the crap out of this. The initial stages are very important in a campaign...you never know when things will turn south so its all about speed right now.

I presume you only have a few keywords then.

At the very basic level just do simple sub id tracking. Then immediately move on to learning something like T or P 202.

Congratulations. I made my first sale from Clickbank last year and it was an amazing experience. However I could not get any consistent success due to lack of efforts, but now I am concentrating more on it.

I believe Google is cracking down on this type of affiliate adwords advertising and want you to have a regular landing page, instead of linking to a hop link directly from your ad.

That is awesome, yeah you should track for sure, it is important to know what keywords will make you money.
I remember my first sale I made no tracking I just knew what the product was, but I made a sale in one of 5 lenses I made, that had the same product, so I don't know which one converted.
Ever since I have been putting ID's on all my links to know what is converting.

Despite all the hype from people like Mack Michaels etc and all the other affiliate product owners, its not as easy to make Clickbank sales as its made out. I read somewhere on this forum that a very low percentage of sales are made by affiliates and most of the sales are made by the product owners themselves. I can well believe this. I have made sales but its like 1 in every 2 or 3 months if that. i too am too used to seeing zeros so ive moved onto CPA and make more money with that than do with Clickbank. Maybe the Clickbank market is getting saturated?

If you have a tight budget, try driving free traffic to a few different products and seeing if they convert. Some products simply don't convert and probably never will no matter how much you optimize your campaign or how much you drive traffic to them.

I tried the redirect about a month ago. And last week Google emails me saying
"the landing page sucks--fix it or you'll get slapped. And if it's not yours tell the owner to update it or you can't send clicks to it anymore"

Despite all the hype from people like Mack Michaels etc and all the other affiliate product owners, its not as easy to make Clickbank sales as its made out. I read somewhere on this forum that a very low percentage of sales are made by affiliates and most of the sales are made by the product owners themselves. I can well believe this. I have made sales but its like 1 in every 2 or 3 months if that. i too am too used to seeing zeros so ive moved onto CPA and make more money with that than do with Clickbank. Maybe the Clickbank market is getting saturated?
